The day was a lot shorter and faster since all I had to look out for during the day was just the training sessions which was a lot interesting today.

I got home like yesterday and the dining table was packed with different varieties of food and the only person seated was Nova.

After his questions about my age, he didn’t say anything more even when I tried to ask why he asked.

“Got here earlier to save you a seat” his voice rang out through the whole house, the same time Jaden and Kade walked in.

It was like a pause went through my body as their eyes met each other, looking like they were exchanging words no one should hear. With Kade’s little smile only directed at me, which was freaking saying a lot like ‘Tread carefully Lily’.

Well it didn’t feel heavy again like it was feeling right now when I removed my gaze from then and looked back and gave a reply to the sitted Nova.
