Evelyn's pov

He was visibly hesitant to share and he tried to dance around the topic, but I insisted on it, I told him that if he was just going to be playing games with me then I was going to leave the room, he looked worried about what I said that and then he told me that there's no need for me to leave the room.

At this point, we were almost brushing shoulders when he admitted to me that he had actually been in the woods.

Immediately in alarm, I told him that he was supposed to go home, that there was no way for anybody to live, he should have gone when I asked him to.

“Everything I did, I did it for you. I couldn't just bear to leave you alone as much as I tried to…” he said, his voice rising in volume but not aggressively, however, I could hear that there was a small undertone of annoyance.

“Just think about it, do you think you are the only one suffering here? You make it seem like you're the only one in pain but I'm also suffering too I also need you too, Evelyn,”
