Evelyn's Pov

So 3 days passed in the flash of an eye and I remained cooped up in my bed. I had the servants bring my breakfast, lunch, and supper to me in my room so I didn't step out even for a second. My father would worriedly drop by to ask me if all was well and I still answered him without opening the door that I was fine but I was feeling a little bit under the weather and I wanted to be alone.

“Is it about that man?” He asked worriedly over the door.

I shook my head, all this time caging myself in here I just tried to forget him but nothing was helping, nothing at all.
