"I recently moved to this area," the lively young woman replied. "I woke up early today and decided to come here for some fresh air. The air in the park is so much cleaner than the rest of the city. I feel like breathing it in might add a few more years to my life!"

Her enthusiasm was infectious, dispelling Matthew's initial hesitation. "Yes, the park has an excellent environment. Running here rejuvenates me daily. May I know your name?"

She hesitated before responding. "My name is Naomi."

"Pleased to meet you, Naomi. Please, continue enjoying your book. I hope we meet again tomorrow."

Naomi nodded and settled back on the grass.

Matthew resumed his jogging, though he found himself glancing back several times.

At the apartment, Sophie prepared an extravagant breakfast. Glancing at the wall clock and noting it was 6:30 a.m., she took off her apron and entered Cherry's princess-themed room.

"Little sweetheart, still not up? Do you plan on being late on your first day of school?"
