“Are you enjoying Daddy’s Pack?” I asked Egan with a small smile on my face.

“Yes, Daddy Pack is the best,” he said, moving all around the phone. I could just tell Damien was holding the phone, and Egan was walking all around talking.

“I am glad. Have a goodnight rest. Mommy missed you but would see you soon,” I said.

“How soon?” he asked, his voice louder. Now he is closer to the phone.

“Very soon. Make sure you sleep early. Don’t sleep past bedtime, and also don’t disturb Daddy too much,” I said.

“Okay!” he yelled, still so active. I sighed; he is definitely sleeping past his bedtime. Damien chuckled.

“How are you doing?” he asked. I smiled.

“I am the same,” I said.

“Have you started working on what you said?” he asked.

“No, I haven’t informed the warriors about the war yet; I would like to talk to Dmitri first. Then we can get everything in motion,” I said.

“Okay, when you are ready to just keep me updated,” he said, and I smiled, nodding my head. I hung up the phone,
