Valeria POV

“Get out!” Darcy screamed at the omegas, followed by things breaking. I sighed, just standing by the door. This is how life has been for the past month. After finding out she lost the pup, Sam has not been able to face her, and Darcy has been going crazy. I went back to training, and Damien kept to his words; he was training me at my pace, and I am actually doing better now. When I am not training, I stay with Darcy, trying to help her get over the loss, but Darcy has remained stubborn, doesn’t listen to anyone, chases the omegas, and lays down on the bed all day while crying at the loss of her pup.

She doesn’t even care how Sam is doing or what he is going through; she made it all about her, and I can’t help but be angry because part of it was her fault. According to the doctors, there was a higher chance of the pup dying even if nobody had fallen on her. She didn’t go for any checkups; she ate anything and everything. How dare she do that to Sam? He is just living in re

Valeria POV“You are sure?” he asked, looking into my eyes. I looked into his warm blue eyes, and if I wasn’t so sure before, I was definitely sure now. I have pictured this moment all my life, imagining my mate marking me. I am sure and ready. I want to bear his mark proudly; I want to be called his and his alone.“Yes,” I said. His eyes went down to my lips. I was on the bed, naked as the day I was born, straight out of the shower. The lights were dim, giving the room a beautiful glow. My heart beat loudly, and my body was warm. I shivered, his intense stare lighting my body on fire. I licked my lips, moving closer to him. I am just realising we have not kissed properly before. Now I looked forward to his lips on mine, so I moved forward, connecting our lips. At first, I was shy and unsure of what to do. I haven’t kissed anyone before. How should I position my head? How should I do my lips? I have no fucking clue.“Follow my lead,” he mumbled against my lips, grabbing hold of my wa

Valeria POVI felt kisses on my face; a warm body laying beside mine.“Wake up,” he mumbled. I squeezed my face, grabbed him, and hugged him to myself. I just wanted to sleep so with that in mind, I continue with my sleep. Damien chuckled.“I know you’re tired, but you have been sleeping for hours,” he said, blowing my face. I opened my eyes slowly, then I whined, hiding my face in his warm chest.“I want to sleep,” I whined. He chuckled, wrapping his arms around my waist.“You can sleep after eating; aren’t you hungry?” he asked, and my stomach didn’t wait for him to finish his statement. It made a loud noise. Damien laughed harder, and he moved away from me. I opened my eyes, cursing my stomach.“Stop cursing your stomach. We are staying indoors today, so there are enough cuddles to be done, but first you have to eat,” he said. I sighed, sitting up, and I looked at the tray filled with food.“You cooked this?” I asked, clearing my throat.“No, the omegas prepared it,” he said, placi

Valeria POVWe sat down around the circular table, and some omegas walked in, serving us water. They are all dressed the same way, with their hair covered with gloves clading their hands. I guess they are the cooks; now I wonder if they come and go or if they sleep over here. Looking at some of them, they have mate marks, so I guess they come and go; this must be their job.“How is the situation in the territory?” Damien asked after they all walked away.“More rogue attacks,” Dante replied.“Still haven’t found where they are attacking from?” he asked.“No, it seems they are trying to test how strong and alert the border is. They already figured out the pattern we used to set our trap, and they now avoid it. They are trying to climb over the gate and wall. The suspecting thing is that some rogues’ attack, some stay down and watch till they are all dead, then they leave,” he said. That seems to me like they are truly testing them. “We can’t allow them to go scot-free, can we? And if t

Looking at how shiny the cameras are, it was recent,” Dante said, taking his seat.“Did you bring anyone in recently?” Damien asked.“No, except the new omegas,” he replied.“You mean the omegas might be working with them?” Damien asked.“We don’t know for sure, but some of them are newly marked mates from other packs. It can be anyone,” he said.“I can’t use my command on them; they are not yet linked with the pack,” he said, breathing out and resting on his chair. Dante nods his head.“I will handle it; don’t worry. Try to be as discreet as possible. It doesn’t matter if they know our techniques; we are still going to crush them. The border is strong; it took years to perfect it; it won’t go down just like that,” he said. Damien’s eyes went blank, and I could tell they were mind-linking.“That is a good plan, cousin. While you are here, are you hungry?” he asked. Immediately he

Valeria POVI slapped the knife off her hand, pushing her harshly to the floor. She cried, her eyes widening in horror as she tried to run to the knife, but I stepped on her hand, putting pressure on it.“Nice save,” Damien said, walking to me while patting my back.“How did you know she was going to kill herself?” Dante asked.“Just her hand movements; she was going for the knife,” I replied, watching her as she cried.“He must have commanded her to kill herself if she is ever caught,” Damien said. Well, I guess Adrain is that evil to want to do that. He went to the knife, picking it up, and then he cut himself deep enough to bleed. He bent down to her size, ignoring her as she cried, taking her palm and cutting it, and then he joined their hands together. He was linking her to the pack; he is her Alpha now.“Everyone leave,” Dante said. The omegas, who were shaking on their feet, and the guards left. I moved away from her so they could interrogate her.“Who sent you?” Damien asked,

Valeria POVWe walked around the border, and there were so many men here. They all bowed as we passed, dressed in armour and carrying weapons.“That will be so heavy,” I said. Damien smiled, his warm hand holding mine securely.“It is heavy, but as time goes on, it gets easier to wear. Now it practically weighs nothing to them,” he said. I smiled, looking up at him.“Don’t you feel weird holding my hand? You are their Alpha, and they are not supposed to have a mate,” I said. He smiled.“They are actually happy to see us together, and they are made to understand they chose this life. Because seeing mates together shouldn’t make them feel weird, they were definitely not forced. When the recruits start, you will see how many men will come out to join them. Wanting to be safe and keep your pack safe is an honourable thing to do, and they all have my respect,” he said. I looked at the warriors around, and they nodded at what he said. They are really happy to be warriors here.“Let’s go to

Damien sighed.“You know, I was always scared of my warriors not liking my Luna. I am their alpha and can command them to impose their love on her, but I would never want to do that. I respect them all, and I see us as equal. Staying here is not an easy thing to do. But I am happy they love you and approve of you. Dante might be the general, but Carlos is especially hard to deal with, but in just a few minutes, you charmed him,” he said. I laughed.“I guess I am a natural,” I said, nudging him. Damien chuckled.“Yes, you are; your father lost an asset. He didn’t realise how smart his daughter is; if you were the Alpha of the Down south Pack, you would have done wonders,” he said. Valeria POVI lay on the floor, covered in sweat. It felt like I was inside scorching fire; my body ached, and I was in so much pain. I was just on the floor, my bones weak. I tried to move my hand but couldn’t move a muscle; my bones keep breaking at unnatural angles, and I have lost my voice from screaming so much.“Now I know why we shift so early. Our bones are still young; the pain won’t be as much as now when we are older,” Carlos said. They have been watching me, all with worried faces.“It’s been hours,” Dante said. I closed my eyes, hot tears falling down my face. I can’t take this anymore. Damien walked towards me, bending down to my height.“I think all your bones have been broken and fixed back to the spot; it is left for your wolf to complete the shift,” he said, removing my hair from my sticky face. I looked at him, and I know he can read my thoughts. I need water—a really cold one.“You can’t drink or eat during a shift, Valeria. Do you want to start this again? You’re

Valeria POV“Get your sisters here,” I heard Damien say as Darcy and I set the table. The house is very noisy, the kids crying here and there. It’s absolute chaos. “Food is ready!” I yelled, and in a minute, they all rushed down to the long rectangular table. I chuckled as they all jumped over each other, trying to get a seat.“Careful,” Darcy said, and I smiled, serving the plates. Well, 5 years have gone by. The werewolf world has been peaceful; no more pillars that control the rules; their palace has been broken into pieces. Everyone has been living in perfect harmony, and I am certain a lot of people have forgotten what happened during the war. Everyone has long since moved on and has recovered from the war, which I was happy about. It took a lot of effort to fix all the damages, but today, the werewolf world is now very peaceful, all living in harmony, and I couldn’t be happier. After the war, it took time for Damien and me to get back as we were; we were still very frightened b

Third Person POV The fight continued, and they were both physically tired, but no one was backing down. “I should have killed you when I had the chance!” Selene growled, swinging her swords at Valeria, but Valeria blocked it weakly. They are both weak. “But you didn’t because you were a fool,” she said, laughing weakly, and Selene tried to stay on her feet. She was exhausted; she could no longer feel her arms, and Valeria felt the same way. Dmitri shook his head at them, but suddenly, he looked up, and he smiled. “They are here,” he said, and Damien was confused. “Who is?” he asked. He walked to them, and Damien followed suit. Valeria turned to them, and her eyes widened in shock, looking at Damien. “I told you to keep him away,” she growled, and Selene looked at Damien, and a smirk rose on her face. Using her last strength, she ran to Damien, and Valeria’s eyes widened. “No!” she screamed in horror, and Damien closed his eyes, expecting the pain. But it never came; he opened h

Third Person POVDamien and Valeria got outside, and it was a mess. Bodies everywhere, injured warriors. But Dmitri stopped the bloodbath by raising Titus’s head to the air; the pillars had been defeated; time to stop fighting.“The war is finally over; now we await the moon goddess,” Dmitri said, dropping Titus’ head carelessly. The air became colder, and the sky grumbled. Valeria held Damien’s hand tightly; she wasn’t letting go. Everyone had their heart in their hands; they were all nervous about what was about to happen, but Valeria remained strong.“She is here,” Dmitri said, and truly she was here. She slowly appeared, dressed in a white gown. She looked pure, looking like she would never cause anyone any harm, but Valeria knew it was the opposite. Selene’s heart is dark, she derived joy from harming her wolves. She is the cause of everything, the one who is to be blamed for everything, and she doesn’t deserve to be the moon goddess. Selene’s eyes match with Valeria’s, and her e

  • In The Hands Of My Alpha   Chapter 87 (Making No Sacrifice)

Valeria POVMy horse gallops down the woods, my army behind me all crying out tears of war. Today is finally the day we get rid of the pillars, just a week after we killed Lux. Am I excited about this war? No, but do I want them all dead? Yes. I have been anticipating this for a week. I know the aftermath is going to be terrible, and I am prepared for everything. I just want the Pillars dead and the werewolf world to be taken back to normal.“Alpha Damien is way ahead,” Collin said, and I nodded my head. I pushed my horse to ride faster; we are supposed to move first according to our plan, but I guess they went before us. We got to the palace where they have been hiding all this while, and it’s already a bloody battleground. Titus definitely came prepared, but there is no way he is overpowering three different armies. Mine, Damien’s, and Dmitri’s. He is outnumbered.“Remember all we have trained for and make me proud.” I mind-linked, and they all roared. I left them, leaving Collins t

Valeria POVSo many grunting, groaning, swords clashing later, Lux was still standing on her feet. Blood all over her body. She stood away from us, her sword out as she tried to catch her breath. I wasn’t even tired; I must say she put up a good fight. She definitely lasted longer than I would have imagined; it was nice to see her still fit after so many years. But she knows this is a fight she won’t win.“Give it up, Lux,” I said, looking at her. She chuckled dryly.“Nice to see I haven’t lost my touch. I had some hits,” she said, looking at all of us. She is right; her sword cut into my arm, and that is all. Everyone has injuries too, but just in a few places. But for her, it’s all over her body. She almost got beheaded by Dmitri; she moved out in a millisecond. “You are already dead,” I said. She smirked.“Not if I have something to say about it,” she said, running to me with speed, aiming for my neck. I could tell she put all her remaining energy into that run; she already knew s

Valeria POVI walked inside the pack house, heading to the conference room and before I got there, I could hear them discussing. I entered the conference room, and it was a full house. I have never seen so many Lycans together before.“Just the wolf we were waiting for,” Dmitri said as I walked in. He looked the same as he was, not much different. “Sorry I kept you all waiting,” I said, smiling at Damien.“She apologies,” Dmitri said, with heavy sarcasm. I turned to him.“How are you doing, Dmitri?” I asked. He smiled.“I am the same as ever. I can’t say about you though,” he said. I gave him a long look, breathing out. I really don’t have strength for his energy.“Did you tell him everything?” I asked Damien. He nods his head.“Yes,” he replied. I turned to all the men.“So, I’m guessing you all understand,” I said. “Yes, we do. But I hope you know killing Lux is going to affect the moon goddess,” he said. I nod my head.“She deserves it; I blame her for everything that’s happening

Valeria POVI got back to the pack, and I headed to the dungeon.“How is he doing?” I asked Collin.“He has gone crazy; he keeps growling and scratching his neck. I tried to stop him, but he is strong and needs more than one wolf to tame him,” he said. And before I got to Adrain, I could hear his loud growling.“Are you with his phone?” I asked.“Yes, it’s with me,” he replied, and I nodded my head. We got to the dungeon, and of course, only he was here. He was rolling on the floor, growling at everyone and everything.“Open the gate,” I said. Collin looked at me wearily, but opened it, anyway. I entered the cell, and he was still rolling on the floor, trying to get rid of his mark.“Adrain,” I called, and immediately he tensed up. His muscles moved, and slowly, he turned around. At first, he looked like a crazy animal, with no ounce of humanity behind those eyes, but when his eyes fixed on me, he became normal. He fell to the floor, crying out.“What have you done?” he cried out. I r

Valeria POVI continued sprinting to Damien’s pack, and when I got near his pack, I was jumping on the censor so they knew I was coming. When I got to the pack, I saw the guards and Dante looking at me from the walls, and they were shocked. I can’t mind link them as I am no longer in this pack. I moved back, then I ran with all speed, growling as I tried to jump off the high wall. The warriors all yelled, causing a commotion as I jumped over the wall, landing on my paws.“Valeria? What’s going on?” Dante asked, running to me. I howled, ignoring him and running to the pack. Dante shifted, running after me. I know he was trying to catch up, but I was in momma bear mode. It was late at night, and I was worried about my son. Who did Titus send to take him? How are they even going to take him in this pack filled with security? Dante growled behind me, and I hoped he was talking to Damien. I continued running, ignoring people’s yells of surprise as I passed them. After a few minutes, I was

He fought with me, screamed and scratched me to let him go but I was barely affected. I took him to his room, dropping him on the bed and I stared at him blankly. I’m sorry you had to see that Daus, no child deserves that, but your momma is evil. She definitely didn’t think of my son and what he would go through if I was dead because no way would I live with that bastard mark on my neck.“Daus,” I called. “Mommy, I want my mommy,” he cried out loudly. I sat on his bed, carrying him on my lap and petting his back softly.“I’m sorry,” I said, not sorry for what happened to Ruby. I am just sorry he has to see that and live without a mom and possibly a dad.“Mommy,” he cried. I pulled back, and I sighed.“Sleep,” I commanded. He blinked his eyes repeatedly, looking all drowsy. And slowly, he fell into my arms, passed out. I sighed, patting his back softly.“I
