"It wasn't a date Amber." Victoria thought she should clarify that.

She looked at the dress Jake had sent for her again. It was a dinner gown, it had a V-cut design and a silky lustre, she felt it when she touched it.

There was also a pair of black shoes with a glassy heel, inside the box. Amber took them out looking at the size number written on one of them.

"Check if it fits you, I want to know if he somehow got the right size for you." She gave Victoria the shoes.

"What number is written on it?" Victoria asked collecting them.

Victoria tried them on and they fitted just perfectly. She stood and walked in them.

"It fits." She told Amber like she couldn't see her walking in them.

"Try the dress." Amber smiled excitedly.
