1. Almost a one night stand

Victoria stumbled through the little crowd at the party trying to find her best friend Amber. She flickered her eyes trying to see but all she saw was blur. She knew she was drunk, she always knew when she was drunk, funny right? That was her; weird Tori.

She would always remember what happened to her after a hangover, she could also walk normally no matter how drunk she was, but tonight was different, 'maybe I shouldn't have drunk' she thought to herself, but what could she do, she was miserable after she didn't win the award for model of the year, she had worked her ass off to get to be nominated and then not win, all the early morning, late night coffees.

"Tori?! Are you leaving already?"

"Amber! Thank goodness I found you, I need help Amber, I'm drunk."

"Yeah, I know"

"No, you don't get it, I'm like drunk drrunnnk," Victoria stressed the drunk to let her best friend know just how drunk she meant she was.

"What did you drink baby girl?"

"I don't know...I don't just know, the guy at the bar he just mixed it up, and said it was a new tryout."

"And you drank it?"

" I was devastated 🥺" Victoria said giving her the puppy eyes." and it's raining outside I can't go home, there's like no taxi pulling up out front..."

"Well... lucky you, this is a hotel hall, there's a hotel just a few walks away"

"But it's raining outside..."

"We could ask the doorman for an umbrella you know," Amber said as she stretched out her hand for Victoria to hold on to while she dragged her through the room and outside.

"Hey excuse me I'll like a room please," Amber said to the receptionist as Victoria tugged onto her arm like a baby.

"$5000 for the premium room ma'am," The young man said smiling politely like his job required.

"Non-premium?"Amber had to ask.

"We don't have um, a non-premium room ma'am, we do have a golden room though that will be $20000." He said still smiling and Amber felt like punching him in the face. "The room and its service actually last for a week." He added.

Amber knew it was most likely for a week, and she had the money, but it was just a night she and Victoria planned to spend here!

"I'll take the premium," She said feigning a smile while giving him her card.

Soon they were in their room, she took off Victoria's shoes and threw them into a corner.

"Ok Tori, I'm gonna go shower and you just rest ok." She said walking tiredly towards the bathroom.

In one of the golden rooms.

"I'm sorry sir, this is the best we could find in this town." A young assistant said to his boss after hanging his coat for him.

"It's fine, tell the security to get themselves some rooms, they need rest, we'll leave tomorrow very early."

"Yes sir....." There was a knock. "I'll get it." The man said as he went for the door.

"Sir, I came to let you know that the area is secure, we also confirmed about the party at the hall next building, it's just an award show." Another man in a suit reported.

"Ok.. you and the others can get rooms for yourselves."

"Thank you sir" He bowed and left.

Closing the door, the assistant turned to his boss who was now sitting on the couch, with his head thrown backward due to fatigue.

"Sir?....."

"You can leave" His boss interrupted him curtly, but he smiled, he was used to his boss's attitude.

"Thank you, sir." He didn't hear his boss say anything so he left closing the door as quietly as possible.

As soon as he left, Jake groaned massaging the furrows on his forehead as he stood up from where he sat and walked to the bathroom to take a shower.

Victoria got up from the bed she lay on. Drunkenly, she dragged her feet towards the door, she kept on walking, though she couldn't see clearly. She fell, flickering her eyes she saw she was at the stairs.

"Since when do I have stairs in my house" She groaned.

Pulling herself up, she went up the stairs while holding on tightly to the stair rail. She stopped at the end of the rail, using her hands to open her eyes which were sleepy while she continued walking. She could see some doors at opposite ends of the hallway and she wondered to herself when and how she had all these doors at her house.

"Finally," She stopped at the end of the hallway. "My rooomm😩"

Getting out of the shower, Jake had a towel around his waist as he dried his hair with a smaller towel, suddenly he heard the door handle shriek, he stopped, holding the smaller towel in his hands firmly, ready to use it as a weapon, he strode to the door, waiting for the intruder and he heard this voice in his head telling him that he shouldn't have let his guards off for the night but he was exhausted on getting here and he was sure they also were, that was why he did what he did......his thoughts were cut off when Victoria walked into the room, harmlessly dragging her feet to walk.

He watched her close the door. He gulped on his own saliva at what he just saw...her blue dress, short as it was yet loose on her skinny thigh hugged her torso tightly. She was barefooted and her thick short curls were hanging on her neck.

She turned around and almost fell, startled to see someone standing right there, but he was quick, he caught her and watched as her chest moved up and down as she breathed fast.

He was surprised too, not mainly because she just entered his room abruptly, but at the fact that he was looking at her breasts as they moved up and down, they weren't large and weren't small either, they were just perfect.

He tried to look away not believing that he was just looking at her breasts, it was something he would never do, lifting his face he met her lips, full as they were he gulped again....he was aroused, and he could feel the hormones building up beneath the towel as he looked at those lips of hers.

"The fuck are you?" He heard her ask while still in his arms and it brought his attention to her Sharp eyes facing him."Why are you in my room?...who are you?" He heard her ask again.

Victoria saw this strange man she found in her room leaning onto her as he had his whole arm holding her waist and keeping her from falling, his dark eyes were staring at hers not saying anything "I'm gonna call the cops." She said and he lifted her and walked towards the bed.

With his two hands holding hers to the bed, he said "You are beautiful."

"I know," She said in a low voice that he found seducing, he couldn't take it anymore he leaned it more and shortened the distance between their faces, he kissed her slowly, closing his eyes, he thrust his tongue inside her mouth, and he heard her moan slightly, her lips were soft and wet, he couldn't get enough, he wanted more.

Slowly sliding the knotted thread design handle of her dress he kissed her shoulders, caressing her cleavage with his lips, she gripped his bare shoulders, she planned to push him away when he kissed her but somehow she couldn't, his hands were no longer pinning hers, they were roaming on her legs getting to her thigh, her body was on fire right now, so she gripped his shoulder tightly.

He was back at her lips sucking them carefully, he could feel her soft skin, he loved it......a knock came through the door, and he stopped.

And that was when he realized what he was doing, he didn't know this woman, he didn't know how she ended up in his room, she was drunk he knew that, he tasted it when he kissed her...he didn't hear another knock like he expected.

Still on top of her, he looked at her, she was asleep. Coming down from the bed, he arranged her head in the pillows and covered her with the duvet, he didn't know what had taken over him to almost have sex with her, he ran his hand through his hair.

After he dressed up, he took a pillow from the bed, throwing it onto the sofa; he couldn't sleep on the bed with her, he might lose control of himself again.
