Kathrina's POV

The rays of the sunlight passing through the light curtains made me wake up with a frown in the morning.

Realizing I wasn't in my home, I quickly jerked up and grabbed my phone on the bed.

I left the room and met Aunt Miranda setting the table, probably for breakfast.

"Good morning, Aunt," I greeted as she lifted up her head and saw me by the hallway.

"Dear, good morning," she said and walked up to me. "Hope you had a great night rest?"

"Yes. Thanks so much for letting me sleepover," I appreciated. She waved.

"C'mon, you're free to come over if you want to and pass the night here. I've got no problem with that."

"Okay. I will be leaving now."

"Oh. You're not going to wait a little bit and have breakfast with us?"

"Um, I would love to…"

"The food is going to be ready in a few minutes, you know," she said, trying to persuade me.

"Yeah. But, I actually wanted to have breakfast with my family."
