Love Hate Relationship

"Noisy!!"

Dominic was startled by Gwen's sudden sharp voice. "Who's being noisy?"

"Don't make a sound," Gwen continued.

"This is my room, but you keep telling me what to do," Dominic retorted.

"Even though it's your room, I'm staying here too, so please cooperate," Gwen replied, grabbing a pillow and covering her ears. Dominic smiled again, puzzled by her behavior but also finding her amusing.

The room fell silent once more, and Gwen's breathing became steady. Dominic, who was already sleepy, soon drifted off to sleep. Thus, the newlyweds spent their first night together.

As night turned to dawn, Gwen, who was used to waking up early, opened her eyes. "One day has passed, today is a new day," she thought. She glanced at Dominic, still sound asleep on the long, comfortable sofa. Gwen got up, took a blanket, and covered him.

She guessed that Dominic was cold while sleeping. After covering the handsome man, she headed to the balcony. Gwen always enjoyed watching the sunrise, the sky's view before the sun climbed higher.

The sound of the door opening woke Dominic. Annoyed by the noise Gwen made, he grabbed his phone to check the time. "If you want to escape, don’t go that way, just open the door," Dominic shouted.

Gwen, hearing this, became irritated and quickly returned to the room. "Who's escaping? Don’t ruin my fun. Just sleep, don’t wake up again."

"What's with you, always telling me what to do since yesterday," Dominic replied. "Go back to your room, take a shower, and change because today we’re going shopping for our honeymoon."

"Fine, since you're kicking me out, if Grandpa asks why I changed rooms, you handle it," Gwen said as she walked towards the hotel room door.

"And who’s been dealing with Grandpa since yesterday?" Dominic retorted. Gwen, now outside, didn't hear his response. She was only thinking about how to get back to her room without Grandpa or his staff noticing.

"On the count of three, I have to run as fast as possible," she thought, planning her strategy.

Sure enough, she ran as fast as she could to her room. Once there, the key was already in place; she just needed to swipe it. Moments later, she was inside and back in bed, resuming her sleep.

Two hours later, Dominic was ready to start his day. "Where is that woman? Why hasn't she come back here?" he muttered. He tried calling Gwen, but she didn't answer.

In another part of the hotel, Gwen had actually been awake since Dominic's first call but was too lazy to pick up. Instead, she covered her phone with a pillow and went to the bathroom to freshen up and change.

It took her thirty minutes to get ready, looking as beautiful as ever. "Let's go meet that weird boss," she said.

Gwen was shocked when she opened her hotel room door to find Dominic standing there with a stern look. He seemed genuinely angry.

"I've been standing here for 40 minutes," he said coldly.

"So what? I didn’t ask you to wait for me," Gwen replied. She was confused by her boss's behavior; she hadn’t asked him to come to her room, let alone wait outside. So why was Dominic acting like this?

"You didn't ask, but I feel responsible, especially since you didn't answer my calls. Look how many times I called you, and you didn’t pick up even once," Dominic explained his actions.

"I apologize for that," Gwen said, feeling a bit guilty. "Are you still angry, or can we go now? Today we're buying kitchen supplies, right?" she asked, trying to change the subject.

"Grandpa invited us to breakfast with your parents."

Gwen had forgotten her parents were still at the hotel, and she eagerly went downstairs to meet them. She was so excited that she walked ahead to the hotel restaurant on the first floor.

When the newlyweds arrived, Gwen’s parents and grandpa were already chatting.

"Gwen, your father and I will be leaving today, so take good care of yourself," her mother said.

"Why so soon, Mom? I haven't finished talking with you and Dad," Gwen protested, acting spoiled with her mother.

"You can be spoiled with your husband, dear," her mother replied.

"But it's different, Mom," Gwen pouted.

"You have to learn to accept whatever comes your way," her mother advised.

"Oh, Mom, you're something else."

Their conversation was interrupted by the waiter bringing their food. "What would you like for breakfast?"

Dominic tried to be sweet to his wife in front of everyone, which annoyed Gwen, but she couldn't do much since any slip could make everyone suspicious and ruin their charade.

Soon, their breakfast arrived, and Gwen and Tiffany ate until they were full. "Good thing I chose a hearty meal, so you can fill up until tomorrow," Gwen quipped.

"You're too much," Dominic whispered, unable to get angry with his wife since all eyes were on them.

Breakfast ended, and everyone went their separate ways. Dominic and Gwen were now in the car, ready to find the nearest route to get what they needed.

"I need a lot of spare clothes," Dominic said, dropping several shirts into their shopping cart.

Gwen didn't react, puzzled that all her husband's purchases were black. "All your clothes are black, are we going on vacation or a funeral?" she muttered.

"Black is a joyful color," Dominic defended himself.

While they were busy shopping, someone had been watching them, or rather watching Gwen. Dominic took quick action, secretly taking a picture of the stalker and instructing someone to find out who he was. He also needed to inform Gwen about the stalker.

"Hey, someone is watching you."
