Wilson chuckled in annoyance when he realized Deric had caught the glass perfectly. His teeth chattered until his hands were clenched tightly on his thighs. He certainly did not accept Caraline's treatment. "Teach the woman next to you some manners if you don't want to see her in trouble."

"That goes for you too, Wilson." Caraline sat down with a half-drop, making an exasperated face.

"To be honest, I'm impressed with your quickness, Deric," Catherine said with a faint smile. She tucked her hair behind her ear with her gaze fixed on Deric.

"I'm pretty confident with my hands," Deric said.

Wilson chuckled, laughing dismissively. "You are a pathetic man."

"But not as pathetic as a man who dares to hurt a woman with his weak hands."

Wilson gave him a sharp look. "You are a loudmouth. Just because you managed to catch that glass doesn't mean you'll look great in front of me. To me, you're still a pathetic piece of shit."
