Jeremy sat on a chair not far from where he stood. One hand massaged his forehead, while his gaze was fixed on the surface of the lake. He preferred to stay out of the way rather than be drawn into Jonathan and James' pointless chatter.

Jeremy was lost in reverie. If the allegations about Caraline being the perpetrator of Deric's collision were true, then the puzzle that was occupying his mind would at least find some light.
