"Miss Caraline." The maids immediately approached, carrying Caraline's body away from Deric. Meanwhile, Deric was immediately helped by several bodyguards to sit back in the wheelchair.

Caraline was brought into the room. Grace had also regained consciousness and immediately called the doctor and Helen. The bodyguards were on standby inside the house even though they would normally only be on guard outside the residence, while the maids waited worriedly in front of Caraline's room.

A few minutes later, the doctor came out of the room. The woman in the white coat explained that Caraline was only suffering from severe shock and a slight fever. Once they felt it was safe, the guards began to leave the building and return to stand guard around the house.

From the direction of the front yard, Helen was seen rushing out of the car. She ran with a panicked look on her face as she entered the house. While on the steps, from the opposite direction, she met Grace.

"How is Miss Caraline, Grace?"
