Chapter 783 Protecting Her

This was supposed to be something that should have been a cause for celebration.

However, Dorothy felt wary for some reason.

She suddenly feared that once Jean's relationship with Joyce improved, Joyce would distance herself from her as well.

Dorothy suddenly realized that she had been influenced by the Smiths. Her way of handling things unexpectedly resembled that of her mother's.

After Joyce got into the car, she noticed that Dorothy was still at the back. A hint of indifference flashed in her eyes before she redirected her gaze elsewhere.

Though her gaze seemed calm, it seemed there was something else brewing in her eyes.

After Coleen finished saying her piece in front of the altar, she noticed that a pale Jean was still standing in front of the altar with both palms placed together in front of her.
