Chapter 595 Did Not Pale in Comparison

Jean was lost.

A few million felt like a huge sum of money.

She didn't think the chicken tasted good anymore.

She said carefully, "I'm sorry for being a burden to you."

Tyler looked at her indifferently. Seeing how wary she was, he sighed and said coldly, "You can pay me back in the future."

Jean nodded. "I'll pay you back."

Tyler's expression darkened when she agreed to it so readily. "You don't even have the money to feed yourself, but you're talking about paying me back. Do you take me as a fool, Jean?"

Jean pursed her lips and smiled awkwardly. She stayed quiet after that.

Tyler glanced at her icily and sent her back once she was done eating.

Mrs. Spencer sent food over for Jean after picking up Dorian. When she saw that Jean wasn't in her ward, she looked for her anxiously.
