Finn, who was sitting beside Jean, noticed that she was shedding tears. He froze for a moment before he said faintly, "I didn't expect you to be such a sensitive person, Ms. Michaels."

Upon hearing Finn's words, Jean furrowed her brows and quickly composed herself. She offered a faint smile. "You're mistaken, Mr. Finn. I'm moved by the relationship Grandma has with Grandpa."

Finn was indifferent to Jean's response. He had grown up in the Jacobs family, and such relationships were commonplace for him. The relationship between Henry and Miriam was nothing special. When Henry was alive, the couple often had arguments.

Finn gazed out of the window, his expression turning cold. He wasn't envious of such a relationship. He sought a woman who would obey his every command and never dare to oppose him or throw tantrums in front of him.

Jean calmly glanced at Finn, sensing the mockery in his eyes. She knew that Finn was different from Toby. Toby had grown up in adversity, while Finn had been
