Chapter 265 Wary

Esme went to Tyler's side with a smile. "Tyler, can we take Dorian out tomorrow?"

Tyler looked at the time and got up from the sofa, saying coldly, "We'll see."

He left, immediately distancing himself from her.

Esme saw that Tyler was obviously resistant toward her. Her expression shifted slightly, but she regained control of her emotions quickly.

Esme was used to seeing his cold side all these years. She didn't feel disappointed at all.

She sat where Tyler had been sitting before, determination flashing in her eyes.

Albert came down from the stairs and said flatly, "Ms. Page, your room is ready."

Nodding, she got up slowly from the sofa. "Thank you, Mr. Anders."

Albert heard how polite she was being and immediately lowered his head. Respectfully, he said, "You needn't be so polite, Ms. Page. This is just my job."

Smiling, Esme walked past him.

Albert kept his head low without looking at her. He felt that she had indeed changed over the years.
