Chapter 233 Exposed

Mr. Elston was sent to the emergency ward.

Sydney and the Elstons' butler waited anxiously at the door.

When Jean and Tyler rushed over, Mr. Elston was being pushed out of the ward. His condition was mostly stable.

He was wearing an oxygen mask as he was wheeled into one of the sick wards.

When Sydney wanted to see him, he refused.

Jean went over to her side. At first, she'd prepared a lot of things to say, but they were all stuck in her throat.

"Are you here to laugh at me?" Sydney looked up at her.

Jean pursed her lips and said, "I'm here to congratulate you for escaping from their scheme and a lifetime of misery."

Sydney said nothing for a long time.

Tyler went up to her and glanced at Sydney before saying to the butler, "I want to see Mr. Elston."

The butler immediately went into the ward to inform Mr. Elston of it.

A few seconds later, the butler returned and nodded at Tyler, letting him go in.

Sydney's eyes filled with hope when her father agreed to see Tyler.
