Tyler gestured for Jean to enter Teak Villa. He had shed his usual cold and sharp bearing, so he looked more like a chivalrous gentleman at the moment.

Jean shot Tyler a look while feeling slightly weirded out. If he had shown her this gentlemanly side consistently during the three years they were together, she would've fallen for him back then.

At that moment, she felt apprehensive about the invitation. Still, she was compelled to accept it due to her thoughts about Dorian.

Soon, Jean entered Teak Villa. She used to recognize every inch of the house. Now that she stepped into it, she realized that everything had changed.

Even though she wanted to see Dorian very badly, she had to suppress her impatience and eagerness because of Tyler's leisurely pace.
