After all, neither the Michaelses nor the Larsons knew about her pregnancy, so they would be none the wiser about her delivery.

"I didn't expect you to have a child while I was away over the last five years."

Jean did her best to recompose herself before approaching Dorian. By the time she stopped in front of him, she already had a small smile gracing her features.

Then, she bent down and asked Dorian softly, "Hi there, kiddo. What's your name? How old are you?"
