That night, Harmony settled in her bed, waiting expectantly for her husband as she looked at the ring on her left finger. It’s been two days since they left Africa and were settled in Michigan. They had also decided to get married and had gone to a court to profess their love for each other. Everything was just perfect.
Ichab walked out of the bathroom, with water dripping on the floor while he picked up a towel on a
Pleasure rippled through her, something deep inside of her felt ravenous. She drank him in. Thousands of butterflies dipped and dived in her stomach. She closed her eyes so tight colors exploded behind her lids.He pulled nearly all the way out of her and then pressed in.A quiver of anticipation shot through her, wrenched her passion higher yet until the feeling built deep inside her and she reached for it. He stopped all of a sudden.“No, no!” she whined in protest.
Rashidat sat in front of the mirror as the clock struck some minutes to twelve, quietly smoking her cigar. Ever since Ichabod and Harmony left, she had always been doing this, hoping that somehow, Odin would appear to her. She knew it was crazy and her father knew this as well. Still, she was hoping that somehow, Odin would show up. It was a
She couldn’t believe her eyes as she walked closer to the mirror…She could feel her heart rising and falling as she reached a hand towards the mirror…to touch him but she only touched the cold surface of the glass. She hurried to put on the light but then he was gone. Now, she was confused…Odin!”“Hello, my lovely,” came the familiar voice very close to her ear but she still couldn’t see him.
“I really can’t believe what you’re saying,” Vivian said. Rashidat had gone to her house the next day to recount all that happened the previous night. Although she didn’t go into full details, she only told her what was important.
That night, as usual, Rashidat was waiting in the room, waiting for him. Her father had retired for the night so it was just her in the darkness. She had purposely put off the light while she waited for the wall-clock to chime 12:AM.While she paced, lots of doubts began to find a way into her mind...what if he never showed? All of a sudden, a strange breeze filled the room, causing lots of things on the desk to clatter to the floor."Rashidat"His voice gave her goosebumps and she turned around to take a look at him. He was sitting on her bed. She walked towards the switch to put on the light but in a flash, he was he pulled her away. It was so sudden that her breath caught. The next thing she knew was she was on the bed while he was standing close to her."Do not put on the light," he growled."Why?" she inquired."Becuase," he said quietly. "I do not want you to see me like this..."She frowned and stood up. She walked
"Here is it," she said, dropping the piece of cloth on the psychic's table. The lady raised her brows. "He really likes you to have visited you," she stated and picked up the cloth.Rashidat sat on the couch. She could feel a throbbing at the side of her neck that was tied with a scarf. She had tried not to make her father suspect anything and had decided to cover it up that morning."May I see it?" asked the psychic.Rashidat frowned at first and then later untied the scarf. The lady stood up and walked closer to him. She bent slowly in front of her and turned her head sideways to inspect the bruises."Hmm...he's lucky you are looking out for him. He's drifting slowly but the blood you gave him was enough to make him last longer for us to do what we are supposed to do. ""What do you mean by drifting?" Vi asked, tying her scarf back as the psychic walked back her seat."The underworld is a terrible place. There are stages where some
Rashidat watched as the woman knelt down, holding the soaked cloth in between her palms. She was positioned in a way that as she held the cloth, the blood that dripped from it, dropped on the dead man's forehead and all the way to his lips. She threw her head back and began to chant in a foreign language. It started really softly at first, but then it intensified as her voice grew stronger and louder. The candlelight began to flicker. The woman did not stop. As she continued, Rashidat thought she saw the shadow of someone bypassed her...her heart ceased. She intensified her gaze and realized it was nothing. As the woman continued. Another shadow ran across the room and a mighty wind started, scattering everything in the room.Amidst this noise, Rashidat began to hear lots of strange voices, some were loud, some were just whispers. She couldn't pick anything but she heard a faint voice, calling, her name."He's calling my name!" she sho
**Hi Guys, so I realized I made a mistake in the last three chapters talking about Vivian instead of Rashidat but that has been cleared. Apologies about that. It has been corrected*"So, Harmony and Ichab are married?"Rashidat nodded. They were at a restaurant after leaving the psychic's place. With the blood that dripped into his mouth while unconscious, he had been cured of his vampire spirit and was now human. Rashidatkept on looking at him, smiling. She was too happy."If you keep on looking at me like that, I might be forced to make love to you right here in front of all these people."Rashidat blushed and looked away."It's just really difficult to finally believe that you are here," she replied.Odin smiled. "Don't worry. I am here to stay but you will need to find a way to explain to your father."Rashidat sighed. "He would definitely faint after hearing it."They both chuckled.
