Calistha never thought that the nightmare after her father's death would be this terrible. Surviving in the midst of the war that was going on between her and those she didn't know made Calistha feel that her life might not last long. Even now she could only cower in fear behind an iron door that towered over the backyard of her father's villa. While Aiden seemed to be far from her while continuing to point the muzzle of his deadly gun at their enemies who were quite a lot. This battle was clearly outnumbered, but she didn't have the slightest doubt about Aiden's ability to shoot their enemies because in fact the man had succeeded in overthrowing most of them, even though he had only faced it alone.

The stiff bodies covered in blood slowly began to fall scattered around the dark villa courtyard in various gruesome forms. And when one of the corpses was suddenly thrown around Calistha's hiding place, the woman almost screamed hysterically before her trembling hands managed to

This morning Incheon airport was bustling as usual with prospective passengers passing by who seemed busy with their respective affairs. Calistha, who was walking hand in hand with Aiden while pulling her suitcase which was quite heavy, seemed to be looking intently at every corner of the airport behind the black glasses perched on her nose. "Watch your step." Calistha gasped in surprise when Aiden suddenly grabbed her arm and saved her from a large tourist who almost ran into her, to be more precise, Calistha almost hit the man for walking in the wrong lane. “Aiden, are you sure this will work? You are crazy!" Calistha whispered angrily. She glanced at the black suitcase that looked ordinary, but contained a variety of Aiden's weapons which were extremely terrifying. The man beside her was indeed crazy as he casually hid several guns under his meager pile of clothes. While in the man's suitcase, Calistha was sure that Aiden must have filled it with m

I'm tired Aiden!" shouted Calistha angrily. Luckily there were not many pedestrians passing by around them, so the sound of Calistha's loud screams would not disturb the peace of those who passed them around the main streets of the City of London. “You have to train to be a tough woman Calistha, so don't whine like a baby.” Aiden sneered with a flat expression that made Calistha even more angry. Today she had experienced many unexpected things with Aiden. When their plane landed safely at Heathrow airport, she had to be nervous again because they would again pass airport chec

Bang Bang Bang Calistha repeatedly shot the target board that was two hundred meters in front of her. But of the three shots, none of them really hit the target point. Calistha's shot, which was only filled with emotion, missed this way and that causing a hole in the wall next to the target board. "Emotions won't solve problems, but if you use them in the right way, you can kill your enemy with all your emotions." Calistha stiffened when Aiden was suddenly standing behind her with his face very close to the right side of her face. The man slightly bent behind Calistha, then reached out his hand to correct the position of Calistha's hand which deviated quite far from the target point. “Look at the red dot over there, feel all the emotions currently churning in your chest. Then put all those emotions into your hands. Concentrate, don't look at me…” Calistha quickly turned her eyes towards the target point while swallowing her saliva nervously. This man was very, very unpredictabl

BrakkAiden kicked hard at the wooden door in front of him and let the moonlight rush into the dimly lit room. Lighting was installed minimally in a room that is too large, which made Aiden have to be more careful in finding the important documents he needed. President Moon has been closely watching him and Calistha lately. Even the old man seemed to have put a lot of spies around him, but Aiden chose to feign ignorance and ignore the stalkers. At least they were still within normal limits as a stalker and never bothered him with Calistha. However, he deeply regretted the stalkers who did not help him when he and Calistha were in a dangerous situation. They were actually busy watching him who was overwhelmed with the mysterious men while eating popcorn with calm faces from a distance. Well, they certainly don't want to bother themselves to fight these mysterious men, because they certainly still care their lives very much.“What are you doing in the Baron's office? Who are you?"Aiden

"Tom, long time no see. You look even more dashing than the last time I saw you." They hugged each other with sparkling faces that looked happy. Next to a man called Tom, stood a teenage boy in his late thirteen who had been silent all this time. “Of course, life at the camp is better now. I eat well and live decently there. You, how were you after your father died?” "Bad. Hahaha… so bad.” Tom saw his best friend burst into laughter instead of being sad because his father had just died two months ago. But that's Jacob's nature, he doesn't like to look sad in front of other people and always shows his tough side to everyone. “You seem to be very used to our bad life. By the way how is Mary, when are you going to marry her?” “Of course I'm very used to it, my father has also prepared this since I was very young. So I don't think my father's death had a very bad impact on my life. Oh, Mary is fine. She is preparing for our wedding next month. Come if you can, we canceled our intent

Last night she fell asleep on Luca's living room sofa to wait for the man to come home, so this morning she must feel sick because she just fell from Luca's comfortable sofa. “My back… aww, I shouldn't be sleeping here. Oh, what time is it?” Calistha, who was still half asleep, started walking here and there to look for the clock on the wall in Luca's apartment. The atmosphere of the house that seemed weird made Calistha find it difficult to find the clock in the luxury apartment. She then decided to go to her room to wash her face to look fresher. However, the low beeping sound that came from the door made Calistha cancel her intention to go wash her face in her room. Someone out there just pressed the password button and will soon enter the house. "Luca?" Calistha frowned at the sound of a woman's voice coming from the door. The little boy was about ten years old. He walked hand in hand with his parents with happy faces radiating from both of them. This vacation became a vacation that little Aiden would never forget because his parents who were always busy were finally able to take their time to travel for three days on a trip to Jeju Island. When he saw such an amazing sight, Aiden occasionally whined at his mother to ask for a photo. Or if he saw an ice cream truck in the vicinity of a tourist spot, he would nag at his father to buy him an ice cream. Aiden's life at the age of ten is still running very normally like the lives of children in general. Nothing strange, and Aiden himself never had any inkling if his beautiful life would soon be snatched away by the irresponsible people around him. “Today we will have business trip to Bukchon temple.” Mrs. Lee guided her son patiently up the steps one by one that would lead them to the great temple in Bukchon village. Calistha and Aiden immediately met resistance from the presidential security forces when they insisted on entering to meet President Moon. Aiden who saw all his men who now turned to attack him became furious. He was then forced to fight them one by one with Calistha who seemed really wanted to kill anyone who bravely had made her life so devastated like this. And the firefight was unavoidable, they were both forced to use violent means to break through the presidential security forces to meet the cunning president Moon. "There are only a few of them, but after this a company of presidential guards will definitely come," said Aiden while looking at his victims which were lying helplessly on the floor with blood pooling everywhere. Calistha who saw that just raised her eyebrows briefly and didn't seem to care about all the corpses. To her the attack on her home was far more horrific than this. They even killed her innocent servants. She vowed to avenge all the deaths of innocent peop

Those fingers painstakingly treated the wounds lodged in Aiden's skin one by one while occasionally frowning deeply when she felt she was pressing the wounds too hard. Calistha looked so concerned about the wounds that Aiden had all over his body. The man's handsome face is now also covered with bluish bruises with torn wounds on the right cheekbone and left temple, all of which make Calistha feel very bad for the man. "Why are you just silent, don't you feel hurt?" asked Calistha in amazement. She even felt pain just by looking at the bruises that were lodged all over Aiden's body. Luckily today they are not late to go to Seoul, and this plane has a fairly complete first aid facility. “I'm used to getting wounds like this, you don't have to worry. After this I will treat your wounds as well.” Calistha suddenly remembered the stinging pain in her arms, calves, and cheeks. Earlier she had gotten a few blows from Emily, plus Emily's men had interfered in their problems. "What about

“Tsk, they seem to have anticipated a hack. They have put in layers of protection." Malfoy huffed in annoyance as he kept trying to find loopholes to get into the government's information system. The site had been denying the various accesses he had used, even though he had used even the most sophisticated methods. But Malfoy believes if the site can still be opened, it's just that he needs a little patience to infiltrate the website. "There must be another way to open it." “It is, but we have to be a little patient.” "How, can't you hack it too?" From the kitchen, Calistha suddenly came with three cans of beer and a plate of pastries to serve to Malfoy. After placing the tray containing their food, Calistha immediately took a seat across from the sofa that Aiden was sitting on while looking at the two men in front of her in turn. "After Malfoy manages to hack a government site, what are we going to do?" "We're flying to South Korea today at three in the morning?" "Why so sudd

“Quickly get on the ship! Come on! Don't look back, quickly leave this village!” Priest Seulwo shouted loudly at the few remaining Bukchon villagers. Most of those who boarded the ship were women and children. The men of Bukchon chose to live in the village of Bukchon which was about to be destroyed by president Moon. He had sent some heavy equipment to level the village of Bukchon and removed all the buildings standing on it. “Where are we going? What if they follow us?” “They will not follow us because they have got what they want. We will go to Seoul and find some help.” Priest Seulwo replied firmly and immediately ordered his men to run the ship, away from the village of Bukchon which had been ravaged by miserly rulers. Priest Seulwo had always believed that Jacob's death would have such a devastating impact. He saw many rebellions that occurred after Jacob's death, and his daughter was also reported missing after being hunted by more than a dozen people who wanted all of his

Emily clenched her fists tightly as she cursed over and over at today's humiliating failure. She thought Calistha was a weak woman who couldn't possibly be able to fight her. But it turns out that all this time she had been tricked by Calistha who always pretended to be weak in front of everyone. “Luca is awake.” Emily immediately turned to her men and nodded in understanding. It's okay she failed to kill Calistha today. She still has other plans to destroy the woman. And one of her plans was to use Luca as bait to pull Calistha out of her hiding place. "Honey, how are you today?" Emily smiled gently at Luca who was staring at her blankly. There was no warmth in his eyes. He looked like a weak and empty wooden puppet. "My name is Emily, don't you remember me, babe?" She asked in a soft, lilting voice. Luca then shook his head in response, and he turned his eyes back to the hospital window which was showing a view of the thousands of trees planted in the back garden. "It's okay

Calistha breathed heavily as she followed Aiden's broad steps as he walked into his house. After they managed to deliver Luciana safely to her orphanage and made sure to give the little girl a tight guard while the criminals who kidnapped her were still out there, Aiden hadn't made the slightest sound in front of her. Even when Malfoy was talking to him, Aiden just responded coldly without giving any comment to every word Malfoy said when they talked about Luciana's safety. Calistha felt a little bad for making the atmosphere between them so unpleasant like this. She felt sorry for Aiden of course. She had been manipulating him all along. And unfortunately she didn't know how to act in front of him after this. But if she wanted to defend herself, she might find Aiden weird for being too much. Hadn't the man been paid to look after her? He shouldn't have gotten so angry with the truth she had been hiding for so long. She was just making sure her position was safe with Aiden. At this t

Calistha got out of Malfoy's jeep while smoothing the strands of her hair that were blowing in the wind to cover her eyes. They finally arrived at Ilderton after circling for quite a while looking for clues to Luciana's whereabouts. At first glance Calistha felt strange with Malfoy. The man said that he was just an ordinary young man who had never had anything to do with her father. But when she met Malfoy this morning, all her trust in him fell. She couldn't believe that Malfoy was just an ordinary boy because he seemed to be hiding something from her. And again, how did Malfoy find the whereabouts of Aiden's house? Even though she believes that the existence of Aiden's house is very difficult for people to find. Aiden's house has always looked like an empty, gloomy and haunted house. Malfoy couldn't have found her so quickly, unless Malfoy wasn't an ordinary boy, as he had been telling her all along. “They hid Luciana inside.” Calistha stared at Malfoy in silence and just followed

The little girl struggled and cried loudly in front of two well-built men who had been looking furious because of the little girl's loud voice. They then took a cloth and started gagging the pale lips of the little girl who had been crying all night without stopping. "You should be quiet and not hurt our ears, this is the result if you keep crying non-stop." Luciana inched backwards, but her hands and feet that were bound to the wooden chair made her movements seem useless. She wanted to go home and be back with her friends. She wanted her brave uncle to come save her. Saving her was like the fairy tales of the princesses that she had often read. The two men were like the monsters that had sometimes been present in her dreams, on the night when she suddenly missed her mother. Luciana sobbed softly behind the cloth covering her mouth. As a girl who is still very innocent, she has been faced with the cruelty of the world that has succeeded in taking her mother. Blame God who ordained
