Nicole laid down her head to sleep as Angela joined her too. She closed her eyes waiting for the sleep to arrive as she tried not to worry what will become of Lucas and her in the morning.
"Sorry, I just remembered I forgot to lock the front door", Angela said. She only shut it when they got in but didn't bolt it from the inside or lock it with her spare key.
"Let me go and lock it quickly", she said, as she attempted to get off the bed.
"No", Nicole said, as she held onto her by her arm, preventing her from getting off the bed.
Angela was surprised she was quick to stop her from locking her front door.
"Please leave it unlocked", she pleaded.
But sadly he never came."My words must have cut him so deeply", she said, coming to that realization."I didn't really mean it, I was just spurred by a sense of loyalty to my friends and my kind", she said. She knew Lucas was not a monster even though he had done terrible things. He could have killed her in the early hours of today easily if he truly was. But he didn't."If only I had heard him out, if only I had given him a chance to explain, I am sure we would have resolved this", she admitted to herself sadly. She sat there in the living room feeling helpless but she didn't stay alone for too long before Angela woke up and foun
Katharine and Vladimir had set off to accomplish the task given to them by Dracula. They had been assigned to look for a way to call a truce between the vampires and the werewolves. They knew they had been the one to break the relative period of peace between them by attacking the werewolves at their home territory. They knew it was just a matter of time before the werewolves would be seeking for their blood and their revenge. But for now there was peace, the peace of a graveyard, the peace before the storm."How do you plan on achieving this?", Katharine asked Vladimir as they walked along the partially lit road by night. They were headed for an exclusive club where they could relax and get some human blood bags."I wished Cobra or Silas were still alive, this was the sort of thing they enjoyed brainstorming about", Vladimir said. H
Vladimir was the first to go for the bottle of human blood as he easily opened it with his superhuman strength and poured it into his wine cup until it filled to the brim.He also poured some human blood into Katharine's wine cup until it was filled up."Let's say a toast", he said to Katharine, as he dropped the now almost empty bottle."To what exactly", she asked, unsure if they had a worthy event to celebrate."To life!", he said."We are still alive, while a lot of our friends are dead, so we should toast to life!", he said, raising up his glass of blood."Fair enough", Kat
Vladimir seemed surprised."12 human blood bags by one lady, it still doesn't add up", he said."It is impossible for someone to drink that number of blood bags", he insisted."I agree with you, it is literally impossible", Katharine said."I personally think she bought it for others", she said."That is the most sensible conclusion", Vladimir responded. There was no other way it could have been."I think we should take our leave now", he said while getting up."Yes we should, we are well rested", Katharine said in resp
As Vladimir walked into the dancefloor of the club, Katharine quickly caught up with him and they both started walking towards the exit. They couldn't talk while walking through the dancefloor, it wasn't private enough and anybody could overhear their conversation.Outside the club, they now had more privacy to talk."How did it go, what did you find out?", Katharine asked."It went very well, her name is Nicole and she is a sweet girl", Vladimir said."Sweet girl?""Don't tell me you like her already?", Katharine asked."Of course not but she is very likeable and very modest to
Lucas and his brothers had been waiting outside her apartment for more than 2 hours now and she wasn't yet back home.Lucas waited patiently for her but it was obvious if she didn't show up soon, their patience would wear thin."She isn't back yet", Andrew said.Lucas was a bit disappointed she wasn't back yet."She will be back", he said, not giving up yet."Okay, I hope so too", Andrew said."Let's wait a little longer", Mark said encouraging Andrew.Lucas looked into his side view mirror to the back of the car. He scanned
The days for mourning were now over. It was dawn already in the werewolf's territory and Mildred was up like the rest of the pack. She had managed to fall back asleep after she stayed up late into the early morning. She was excited as never before. Excited for new things the day had in store for her. Excited about all the prospects. Excited today might just be the day she breaks the ice wall between her and the Alpha hybrid. She made it outside her home to see the werewolves gathering. It appears Alpha White had called for a last minute meeting. She would have loved to go now to see the vampire hybrids but she had to attend this meeting now. After they had gathered. Alpha White appeared in his werewolf glory to address the pack.
Lucas was still sleeping in bed in his penthouse apartment when a familiar call interrupted his sleep and woke him up.His sleep had not been entirely peaceful as he had flashes of Nicole coming into his head as he slept and leaving. He could not remember vividly what he dreamt about her but it troubled his sleep a little, but when he heard his familiar call it was enough to wake him up.He sat up in an instant from his bed fully awake, as he scanned his room for any sign of the voice, for any sign of her. But his room was perfect, the way it has always been. He quickly got out of bed and searched his large wardrobe and bathroom but it was also empty, the familiar voice he heard had not come from that source. He quickly stepped outside into the living room to see what
