The time was now 9 AM when Lucas opened his eyes again. His hands were still wrapped around Nicole but she appeared to still be sleeping. Lucas kissed her on the back of her neck, then on her cheeks which made her smile while her eyes were shut. Apparently she was awake but loved the position she was in and so closed her eyes to enjoy it some more.
"Wake up babe", Lucas said, urging her to open her eyes. Nicole smiled again and this time turned to face him, her eyes still shut until she opened it looking into his beautiful eyes.
"Good morning", Nicole said to him with a smile.
"Good morning babe", Lucas said, kissing her briefly on the lips.
"Sadly we have to get ready for work", he said, as he sat up

Charles had still not forgotten about the death of Sir Paul. He had dropped Angela and Nicole at Nicole's apartment as he drove off. Tonight he wanted to be alone but did not directly say that to Angela, instead he gave her permission to spend the night with Nicole if she wanted, which she readily accepted. Nicole had stayed over at Lucas's apartment for 2 days straight now and Angela was already missing their sleep overs together.Charles drove off towards the direction of Sir Paul's mansion. It was a long drive but it gave him time to reflect on what had happened.Sir Paul had been killed by the vampire hybrids in battle and Charles had vowed to avenge his death but so far he hadn't made a headway with his plans.
