Alice yelped in pain as she tried to free her hands from the ropes that were tied firmly around her hands and legs. Her eyes scanned the room that she was in, but she couldn't see a thing. It was pitch black. After much struggle, she was able to free one of her hands. She soon got her second hand and legs free also. Where was she? The last thing she remembers was a dark mist surrounding her and Joan, and then she opened her eyes and found herself in this dark room. She was probably taken by the dark witches. She figured that part out when she saw that she was tied. What about Joan? Was she taken too? She hoped not. Alice sighed deeply and started the plan she had been thinking about in her head as she was trying hard to free herself from those tight ropes. It wasn't anything grand. She just needed to open up a portal that would take her back to the Palace. The only problem was that she didn't know if Joan was still her and was placed in another room. She couldn't get Joan out by hers
Johnathan and Lilac were back at the Palace before the sun was out. They looked distraught. Joan refused to eat anything and kept asking what should be done to get Alice back. “Is Devon not back yet?” Lilac asked about her older brother. Diana shook her head. Devon didn't come back to the Palace through the night. It was probably a good and bad thing. Diana hoped his wolf wouldn't completely go feral if Alice wasn't found soon. That was one of her worries. “I tried using the crystal ball to find Alice but…” Johnathan looked into the crystal ball to see but it was covered by what looked like a Haze. “How is this possible, but she was taken by dark witches. This is white magic” “Yes, I was surprised at first too when I saw this. A white witch is helping them. That is why they were able to infiltrate the Palace and no alarm was raised for a while. The white witch was able to create a barrier around the Palace. She must be gifted” Diana sighed. All this only meant more problems for them.
“We need your help Lilith” Lilac said “I will be glad to help in any way I can your highness” Lilith replied. She was ready to help them in any way to find Alice. She still blamed herself for not being strong enough to stop the dark witches.“I need you to show us what happened last night” Joan said, and Lilith nodded. She was aware of Joan's powers and readily stretched forth her hand for Joan to take. Joan accepted it, too. Lilac held hands with Johnathan after he held hands with joan. Joan wanted to show them everything in case she missed an important clue and they didn't. It didn't take long for her to get into Lilith's memory of the previous day. Lilac and Johnathan were also transported into the memory because of Joan's power. It looked so real that Lilac was taken aback for a few seconds. “Wow!” She muttered. They saw Lilith walking through the Palace hallway, but she stopped in her tracks just as few feet after she walked past the door, leading to the Palace garden. Lilith w
Why the hell isn't it working!” Kyra yelled out in anger when she tried to use her powers again. She had been waiting for Them to come back for her but after spending over a day hiding from the Lycans she knew they had abandoned her. “No!” Kyra tried to convince herself that that wasn't the case. Maybe they thought she had died during the fight. That was better than them abandoning her. Thankfully because of what happened at the palace, everyone was preoccupied. She soon realised that they had no idea that a dark witch was hiding in the Palace. This was an advantage for her. She glanced at her injured arm which was taking way too long to heal because of the hex around the Palace that Diana had placed. Kyra cursed under her breath. A smile appeared on her face, at least they were successful on their Misson. It wouldn't be long now. When Epheba rose again she would get her revenge on those despicable lycans. Kyra's eyes were full of hidden pain and anger. She would never forget the day
Chapter 198Alice watched as the dark witches were performing their rituals. What were they planning to do to her? She struggled with the ropes around her hands but this time they made it much tighter. How was she going to get out of this situation? She missed Devon… she didn't even get the chance to tell him about the baby. Why was life always too cruel to her whenever she was finally finding joy again? Alice tried to conjure the energy she had but it didn't work. She felt weak and could barely move. Her eyes traveled around the room, trying to look for a way out and then her eyes landed on Alicia. She was standing in a corner at a distance away from the dark witches. She stood in silence watching everything the dark witches were doing. Her gaze met with Alice and she looked away after a second. Alice saw it in her eyes, it was guilt. Alice remembered the other time also. The look the white witch had in her eyes made Alice think that something wasn't right. Was she perhaps being coe
Liam stood in front of the outer banks, watching as his men searched through the whole area trying to find Devon. Liam could sense him around and knew he had changed into his wolf form already. He just hoped what he feared hadn't happened yet. If his wolf instincts took over he could attack anyone without thinking. Tyler walked to Liam's side to inform him about how the search was progressing. “We have searched everywhere Your Highness but we can't seem to find him, Your Highness” Liam sighed deeply when he heard this. [Devon I know you can hear me. You can't find Alice this way. We have figured out a way to get her back. Come back with us to the Palace] Liam's mind linked to his brother. Part of what he said was a lie. They still hadn't figured out a way to find Alice. (Liam wasn't aware of what was going on back at the Palace) “Tell all the men to retreat we are going back to the Palace,” He said to Tyler and he nodded. Just as Liam turned away and was ready to leave. Devon's wolf
Gia stood in front of a door for a few minutes, sighing deeply before she finally knocked on the door. She waited for a few seconds before she pushed the door open. “Haven't you gotten on with it yet? I don't hear any screaming” The woman in the room turned to look at Gia who was still standing by the door.“I haven't been able to activate the moonstone,” Gia replied in a low voice. The woman scoffed. “Till now, do I have to do everything myself, you know we don't have a lot of time left. The lycan will be here soon” The woman said and started to walk across the room towards an old shelf. She took out a book from the shelf and threw it to Gia. “Use this, and if it still doesn't work then you are just incompetent. “ Gia nodded and bowed her head slightly. She turned to leave but was stopped in her tracks. “Also make sure you get it right this time.” Gia rolled her eyes but said nothing. “B*tch!” She muttered as she walked towards the room that Alice was locked in. Alicia, who was com
You are going to kill us all!” Alicia screamed at the dark witch. The moonstone that looked like a normal stone started to glow, but it was only temporary. The glow died down after a few seconds. “Argh!!” Gia yelled in rage when she had no choice but to stop. If she continued, she would end up killing herself…With rage, Gia finally ended the torture of Alice. Alice felt everything go dark, and she passed out because she felt that all her strength was lost. Alicia immediately rushed to her side and held her. “don't you ever try to stop me ever again! Don't forget your child is still with us!” Gia yelled at Alicia. She picked up the moon. Stone and the frown on her face disappeared. It was replaced with a smile. A smile of triumph. “It worked!” She muttered as she held the moonstone. The moonstone that started to glow Amber again suddenly became normal. The smile on Gia's face disappeared, and she stormed out of the room. “Alice!” Alicia shook Alice trying to get her back to consciousn
