Alice watched as the dark witches were performing their rituals. What were they planning to do to her? She struggled with the ropes around her hands but this time they made it much tighter. How was she going to get out of this situation? She missed Devon… she didn't even get the chance to tell him about the baby. Why was life always too cruel to her whenever she was finally finding joy again? Alice tried to conjure the energy she had but it didn't work. She felt weak and could barely move. She was standing in a corner at a distance away from the dark witches. She stood in silence watching everything the dark witches were doing. Her gaze met with Alice and she looked away after a second. Alice saw it in her eyes, it was guilt. Alice remembered the other time also.
