Alice walked past Devon and didn't say a word to him. He could feel that she was upset. “Alice” He called her name softly when they arrived at his chambers, but she didn't respond and disappeared into the bathroom. When she came back out, she changed into her nightwear and simply went to lay down on the bed, Ignoring him.

Devon went to take a shower too, and when he was done her eyes closed, but he knew she was not asleep. She just didn't want to speak to him. He got into the bed and just watched her without saying a word. He had tried talking to Liam but that was as far as he could go. “Alice” He called her name softly after a while and her eyes fluttered open slowly. She just stared at him without answering.

“We encountered a black witch today,” She said after a while. “What!” Devon exclaimed. “Relax, she fled and didn't do anything to us. We can take on a black witch” Alice said, and Devon relaxed a bit.
