Joan's eyes flew open the next morning to find Liam staring back at her. She yawned and closed her eyes again, maybe she was still dreaming. Her eyes flew open and wide the seconds. She got up in a sitting position abruptly. Liam did the same too. He had been waiting for hours for her to wake up and she finally did. “Good morning” Joan greeted in a low voice. “Morning” Liam greeted her back.
