Joan sat down on Liam's bed slowly. Her whole body was still trembling. She wasn't expecting to see her parents. "Joan" Liam whispered her name. Joan Turned to look at him, with tears in her eyes.

He drew her into a warm hug and he could feel her sobbing silently in his arms. "Why did that have to happen to her parents" she whispered. She couldn't imagine what Alice would have gone through witnessing something like that.
