16: Intruder

At dinner time, Devon, Alice, and Lilac sat at the big dinner table. It could accommodate at least fifteen people. It felt a bit empty with just three of them sitting down. The omegas who served the food couldn’t help but glance at Alice when they walked in to set the table. The piercing gaze made Alice uncomfortable. She hung her head low, avoiding eye contact with the curious people.

Finally, the dinner table was left with only the three of them. A man stood a few steps behind Devon. He was the only one who didn’t look at her with a surprise gaze. His face remained indifferent.
