Noel
Noel massaged his shoulders as he heaved a long, tired sigh. After amassing a great effort to attend the lecture in the morning, Noel successfully reached the lecture hall early, meaning that he could rest for a bit before the lecture session began.
"Wow... I’ve never even imagined that bathing an adult male could be so challenging..."
About a few hours ago, after Noel brought that douche upstairs to the second floor—where there are a spare bedroom with attached bathroom in case of emergency, he stripped him naked and disposed all of his clothing and then threw him into the bathtub.
"Whew..."
Just by stripping him and throwing him into the bathtub, Noel already felt tired. That douche is heavy, not to mention huge as well.
Noel took a short wooden stool and put it beside the bathtub. He then pulled the sleepy douche's arm to clean it when he saw his armpit hair that were very long like a living seaweed.
"Geh!?"
He was startled and disgusted at the same time. He sighed slowly and massaged his temple, exasperation gradually welled up inside him.
"…Gremlin, call two more of your kin to come here and bring some shaving tools and some scented therapy candles. We need a lot of help here."
The gremlin—a creature who understands emotions from words— apparently sensed discomfort in Noel's words and was alarmed by it before quickly called in more than two gremlins with tools more than what he asked. The gremlins then immediately lit up the scented candles and prepared the necessary ingredients for an aromatherapy bath without being asked.
"What?...."
Noel was speechless by the gremlin's voluntary action, even so, their willingness to help him earned a chuckle from him.
"Thank you. Let me do the work while all of you assist me, okay?"
The gremlins nodded enthusiastically.
What normally took just about 15 minutes turned out to be longer than 2 hours, when Noel also needed to exfoliate the douche's dead skin and trimmed his nails while also taking care of his smelly and oily hair. His inner perfectionist is screaming every time he saw how slovenly that douche was.
When he dragged the douche’s titan body onto the bed, he was pulled by the force, and unwillingly laid on the bed beside where the douche fell down. Luckily his scent is bearable now, after gotten dressed with a new and clean clothes. He's rather impressed that the douche didn't wake up even the slightest bit from what were done to him.
Alcohol sure is scary...
The gremlins—after assisting Noel and cleaning up the grimy bathtub— were also sitting on the floor, expressing their heartfelt complains among each other after. They chatted about how hard it was to bathe the douche and would rather bathe an ox than bathing a human who didn't even know what a personal hygiene is.
Noel chuckled when he understood the gremlin's monster tongue conversation. The gremlins who realized that they've been found out, quickly stood out and excuse themselves out of embarrassment.
Then room fell silent after the chatterboxes left. Only the smooth whooshing sound from the new vintage ceiling fan filled the tranquil air.
Noel sighed and turned his head to the side to face that douche. After bathing him, he doesn't look that half bad and his actual body odor smells nice, like a morning forest. The douche breathes softly, his fingers twitched occasionally from his sleep. Just what kind of dream he's having there?
Suddenly, his hands moved on it’s own, when he touched the douche’s twitching fingers. An immediate zap invaded his mind, rendering him to flinch and pulled away.
He gasped and looked at his hand as his face twitched in conflict.
What was that…?
That zap definitely felt like an electric rush, that surged the Mana inside him into a state of haywire. He creased his eyebrows, trying to calm down his Mana Circulation.
Noel took a few minutes calming his Mana Circulation down—all of them seemed to strongly attracted to this douche beside him. He paced his breathing when his Mana Flow returned normal. After that, he shot the douche a strange look, in his mind, the question about the surge floated about, yet he didn’t have the answer for it. He shook the thoughts away and got up from the bed. Turning around to the douche, he muttered.
"Now then..."
Noel narrowed his eyelids and glanced at the douche’s firm figure.
"Where should I send you back to....?"

After changing the library’s bedroom door into the douche’s bedroom door, Noel dragged that oaf to the bed, again throwing him there while this time, he’s careful enough not to get dragged by the inertia. Noel’s nose immediately twitched.
“Ugh…” His face twisted into a grimace as the smell of dirty and unwashed clothes that were scattered on the floor greeted his nose, not in a kind way.
He mouthed an EW and stared judgingly at the douche for a bit, before slowly inching back into the interdimension door. All of a sudden, his steps halted when he felt a throbbing pain at the right side of his neck, from his Mana vessels that were used to transport Mana throughout his body.
He grunted—mostly feeling uncomfortable with the throbbing sensation and some of it feeling a slight pain. Again, he felt like his Mana is attracted to this unknown person in front of him, who was snoring carelessly on the bed that God Knows when it was last washed.
Noel pondered for a bit, his eyes went down from the douche’s face to his features, and down to his body. He’s just like your average Joe, blonde hair and blue eyes. His body is muscular but also a little flabby, indicating the effect of eating fast foods. However, Noel felt like there’s more in him than just a normal douche who’s raring to bully others.
He slowly lifted his right hand to his front. A white gleaming veins started appearing on his hand as he brought his wrist closer to his mouth, before gently blowing the space above his palm. A few moments after that, a small orb started to appear, gradually shaping into a humanoid shape with wings. Upon the completion of it’s formation, Noel weaved a smile at the floating figure hovering above his palm.
“I need your assistance…”

Back to the present, Noel sighed again. Recently, he realized that he sighed a lot. Well, might be because living in this world is quite tiring. Although this world has modern technology, the fact that magic had already dispersed from their life energy put a burden on Noel, especially since he’s an avid magic user. All of his folks were also magic users back in his world.
Noel pondered for a bit. Melancholy rang the bell of his consciousness.
"I wonder what happened to my subjects? I hope they're fine."
Noel mumbled as he stared at the lecture hall’s high ceiling.
He snapped back to reality when the lecturer had entered the lecture hall, and just like other students, took out his notebook to jot down the lecture.
Noel “Okay class. Our lecture will end now. For those who’s absent in today’s lecture, the other student please tell them to come to my desk and retrieve their module.” The lecturer said before letting the students leave the class. In the hallway, Noel was putting his things into the locker situated in the hallway of the university, where it can be rented from the main office. "Hey." A familiar deep voice greeted him from his back, along with a gentle scent of lavender. "Oh." Noel turned around to see the douche who he had bathed earlier in the morning was scowling at him together with his other henchmen. The douche looked angry. "You think you can run away after tricking us, huh? What's this?" The douche threw the pouch that Noel gave him yesterday beside where Noel stood. Stones flew out from the pouch as it hit the marble surface of the floor. Noel ra
Joseph Joseph lit up the tip of the cigarette as he stood in front of the glass window of his room, looking at the empty and quiet street of the Westwood neighborhood at night. He exhaled and smoke came out from his mouth. "This town is pretty quiet I must say..." He muttered, taking another puff of smoke. Suddenly, the corner of his eyes caught movements behind the bushes at the opposite side of the road, where the park is located. He squinted his eyes, sharpening his view of what he saw earlier. Behind one of the bushes, the leaves rustled, as if someone was purposefully shaking it, but the probability that it was some street cats that were out playing that night was also there. After a few moments of shaking, the bush stopped. Then his eyes widened. Coming out from the bushes, a few tiny lights flew and head towards an unknown direction. Rather than heading straight, the pattern of the lights were uneven as if they're dancing as they twirle
Noel "...One day, my sister wanted to surprise me for my birthday, so she and Serah went to the woods to gather some flowers to make a flower crown. We usually never ventured too far inside the woods, as my parents said that there might be wild creatures lurking inside them. As she and Serah were busy gathering the flowers. My sister noticed some beautiful bug and wanted to show it to Serah, when she turned her back to find her, she disappeared." Noel continued sipping the hot chocolate as he heard the story. "Panicked, my sister searched high and low for her whereabouts. We even called in the police for investigation yet in the end, she is still missing, until now." "And you thought that Serah was kidnapped by fairies, that's why she is missing?" Noel guessed. Joseph reluctantly nodded. "I was very convinced that she was kidnapped by fairies. I mean, how can it be possible to disappear without a trace in a blink of an eye? Even if she
Ricky Ricky stood silent in front of the hanger which have his cleanly washed and dried clothes. Deeply sighing, he put on the clothes and went downstairs to see a freshly cooked breakfast; a jambalaya and some orange juice placed nicely on the kitchen counter. He sat down in front of his breakfast and ate slowly. These incidents have happened to him for over two weeks since the first time it happened that it no longer startled him. He did try to not eat the breakfast that was served, only to find it inside his suddenly empty fridge that was usually filled with leftover food from when he didn't know. His house were also cleaned thoroughly that no speck of dust were seen on every corner of his lving space. Not to mention his whole mountain of clothes—that were living freely on the floor of his bedroom—were all washed, dried and folded while also arranged inside the closet. He looked around his house while he ate. His living room that was usually very d
Serah Serah panted as she trudged through the thorny path. His dark pink dress were tattered and smudged with dirt, and her face, clad with fear and confusion. Where am I? What is this place I’m in right now? She thought to herself while still limping slowly. She remembered she and Abigail went out to pick flowers for Joseph, her friend's little brother. "Ouch-" Serah stopped abruptly when her toes got cut by the thorn on the side of the road—adding more to her feet injury. Her shoes was torn about awhile ago, and it's been a long while since she's in this forest. As she was limping along the endless path, she finally decided to rest and sat on the side of the road. She winced when she touched her wound from the thorn earlier. "What should I do? There's no water here." All the days that she got stuck in the mysterious forest, she didn't eat and rely only on the murky swamp water that she woul
Ricky From the time after Noel had left him in the lecture hall, Ricky was left in a disheveled state. He was now alone in a bookstore, seeking for a reference book for Adam who suddenly have to manage the basketball team’s evening practice and asked Ricky to buy him books. “I told you, book A is better than book B. It contains better explanation and easy to remember short notes for an educationally dumb person like you.” Ricky told Adam as they talked by phone. Ricky flipped the pages of reference book B before his face twitched in disagreement. Then he put down the book on the display table before picking up reference book A that was just beside each other and was now reading reference book A about mechanical engineering. His eyebrows raised in agreement and satisfaction towards the contents. “Okay, okay. I know I’m dumb, but don’t you think that book C is better with me?” Ricky’s face contorted into a look of dismay. “Book
Izfar "I see." Izfar nodded his head after Serah finished her story of how she got inside the forest. "And then, you were found by Raon and Horan and were bought here?" Izfar asked for confirmation, Serah nodded at his question, even though she herself wasn’t sure how she got to the palace in the first place. Suddenly, her stomach grumbled, begging to be filled. Izfar widened his eyes in surprise while Serah held her grumbling stomach. "Are you hungry?" "Oh, this? It's okay, I'm used to being hungry in the forest." Serah childishly grinned. Izfar fell silent, his yellow eyes were cast down to inspect her features. Her dark blonde hair was messy and her body is scrawny, not fitting for a child like her. Yet, she could still smile happily although she's suffering on the inside. Izfar motioned his hand at the door. In an instant, two female elves appeared out of nowhere and paced near him. "Bring some light
Noel "Whew, finally done." Noel said as he wiped the sweat that was dripping down on his chin. He sighed in satisfaction as he saw the clean shiny sink with all the untensils cleaned and trash taken out. Despite that, his nose still caught a pungent smell somewhere nearby. "Hmm?" He smelled himself. He smelled like a durian. "Whoops." He chuckled. "Better get washed before heading out. I guess I'll close the library today. But when will I tell Joseph about Serah I wonder?" He spoke amidst his walking to the bathroom After washing himself using the refreshing shower in a beautiful spring night, he wore a cream colored turtleneck with a black pants and put on his usual round, old fashioned glasses. "Perfect, just like the nerd I am." He grinned while posing in front of the full length mirror. As he hummed while hopping down the stairs to the main door, he touched the door knob and the door shape changed. Not from the usua
