Ricky
The wind blows gently, slipping its way in between the overgrown grasses. The blades of grasses moves in waves and birds chirping could be heard from a distance, as if harmonising with the gentle movements of the nature while embracing the dawn sun—it’s orange orb rose from the horizon.
Truly, it was a very beautiful scenery.
For most of people that is. Not for Ricky who woke up from his sleep feeling groggy, accompanied with head splitting severe hangover. He grunted—for a long time and despairingly—before sluggishly made his way through the hallway of his house to reach the kitchen. He was hoping that he could find something to drink—a water or anything—that could at least slightly disperse the insane amount of pain he felt starting from his forehead down to his nape, when he knew very well that he's not the type of person to buy groceries and all his exes never really know how to cook so there's barely any utensils in his kitchen.
Upon reaching the kitchen, his narrowing eyes—which sometimes twitched from the headache—gradually widened when he saw something on the kitchen counter.
On the counter, still steaming hot, was a bowl of hangover soup and a bowl of rice with a side of rolled eggs.
"What…?"
Although he was still suspicious of the phenomenon that he saw right in front of him, being an air-headed as he is, he slowly sat down in front of the dishes and looked around. His tummy grumbled simultaneously with his drooling mouth.
He wiped the drool, feeling more starved rather than feeling scared or disturbed by the dish. There’s a strong probability that a stalker might've been sneaking inside his house and cooked his meals, or he's simply just still hallucinating about eating a hearty breakfast when in reality, he's still sprawling on the side of the road, sleeping somewhere random outside his house. His eyes focused towards the steamy hangover soup in front of him.
It was a substance that he’d never seen before, a clear soup, with some dark greens floating above the surface. At a glance, it doesn’t look that delicious at all, but he could’ve sworn that soup fumed the most delicious smell he’d ever smell before, like the smell of the sea.
"Well..."
He looked around for one last time to see whether there were anyone other than him in this house, before mindlessly digging in.
Not far from where Ricky sat as he inhaled the food, at the upper cabinet, a pair of eyes watched him intently as he savored the soup, while also letting out a delightful moan upon biting the fluffy rolled eggs.
As he finished his food, it grinned.

"Dude, did you take a bath or something?"
That was the first question being asked by Taylor to Ricky when they met at school in the morning.
"What are you talking about?"
He scowled, still mad at him for recklessly threw a punch at his face yesterday when they fought for the pouch. Even so, he smelled himself, abiding to his friend’s curiousity. Weird, he smelled like lavender. His mind suddenly recalled the last few hours at his house before he went to school.
After having breakfast—which he’s never done before after enrolling into university—weirdly enough, he had this strong urge to wash his face and brush his teeth, when he rarely even wash his face in the morning especially in cold seasons.
After washing his face, he ought to just wear something that was scattering on the floor of his bedroom when he suddenly heard his wardrobe rattle. Alarmed, he reached his pillow and brought it to his front as a protection. He slowly inched closer towards the wardrobe.
After just a few foot away from the wardrobe, he flung the door open to see a pair of hangers with his clothes on it, other than it being empty because he never folded his clothes. On one hanger, it was just some jeans that he usually wear and a piece of white t-shirt while on the other hanger is his brown leather coat. However, both of them smelled nice, as if they're washed.
Ricky inadvertently froze.
Then, like a normal human being, he freaked out, again mindlessly accepting the hospitality by grabbing the hangers and slammed the door shut. After that, he brought them to the living room and changed his clothes there before quickly leaving the house without locking the door.
"Hey, Rick, you okay?"
Adam snapped his fingers in front of him.
"Huh?” Ricky flinched, slowly coming back to reality. “What? Oh, yeah. Yeah, I'm good...."
Another person who’s worthy of his grudge appeared in front of him. If not because of his wide connections, Ricky would’ve targeted Adam as his prey. Ricky blinked his eyes for a bit. He still couldn't digest of what happened to him earlier—receiving a delicious breakfast dish and also a great hospitality. Was it because he drank too much?
"But seriously, you... You should drink your alcohol moderately. It's not weekend, you know?"
Adam snickered as he patted Ricky's shoulder.
"What? It's your fault that you bought too much alcohol. Drink moderately my ass."
Ricky retorted and gave Adam a jab on his side. They all cackled sarcastically, disturbing the surrounding.
"Anyway, you know about the pouch that we got from that nerd yesterday? It's a fake."
Ricky’s thick eyebrows furrowed into a frown After hearing what Adam just said.
"What? All of them?"
Adam nodded.
"After we celebrated being rich last night, me and Taylor went to the money exchanger to exchange money for the nuggets. But when we took out the nuggets, it turned into stone."
Taylor clenched his fist. "That nerd bastard, how dare he messed with us..."
Upon hearing what they said about that nerd, Ricky was struck with a strange sense of familiarity, particularly from his chest.
What is this…?
He frowned uncomfortably.
"Well, let's find him and teach him some manners, shall we?"
Taylor grinned, his amber eyes shone a wanton intentions, followed by Ricky who sneered at that nerd who made him feel weird. The university hallway was once again disturbed by their evil laugh.
Noel Noel massaged his shoulders as he heaved a long, tired sigh. After amassing a great effort to attend the lecture in the morning, Noel successfully reached the lecture hall early, meaning that he could rest for a bit before the lecture session began. "Wow... I’ve never even imagined that bathing an adult male could be so challenging..." About a few hours ago, after Noel brought that douche upstairs to the second floor—where there are a spare bedroom with attached bathroom in case of emergency, he stripped him naked and disposed all of his clothing and then threw him into the bathtub. "Whew..." Just by stripping him and throwing him into the bathtub, Noel already felt tired. That douche is heavy, not to mention huge as well. Noel took a short wooden stool and put it beside the bathtub. He then pulled the sleepy douche's arm to clean it when he saw his armpit hair that were very long like a living seaweed. "Geh!?" He
Noel “Okay class. Our lecture will end now. For those who’s absent in today’s lecture, the other student please tell them to come to my desk and retrieve their module.” The lecturer said before letting the students leave the class. In the hallway, Noel was putting his things into the locker situated in the hallway of the university, where it can be rented from the main office. "Hey." A familiar deep voice greeted him from his back, along with a gentle scent of lavender. "Oh." Noel turned around to see the douche who he had bathed earlier in the morning was scowling at him together with his other henchmen. The douche looked angry. "You think you can run away after tricking us, huh? What's this?" The douche threw the pouch that Noel gave him yesterday beside where Noel stood. Stones flew out from the pouch as it hit the marble surface of the floor. Noel ra
Joseph Joseph lit up the tip of the cigarette as he stood in front of the glass window of his room, looking at the empty and quiet street of the Westwood neighborhood at night. He exhaled and smoke came out from his mouth. "This town is pretty quiet I must say..." He muttered, taking another puff of smoke. Suddenly, the corner of his eyes caught movements behind the bushes at the opposite side of the road, where the park is located. He squinted his eyes, sharpening his view of what he saw earlier. Behind one of the bushes, the leaves rustled, as if someone was purposefully shaking it, but the probability that it was some street cats that were out playing that night was also there. After a few moments of shaking, the bush stopped. Then his eyes widened. Coming out from the bushes, a few tiny lights flew and head towards an unknown direction. Rather than heading straight, the pattern of the lights were uneven as if they're dancing as they twirle
Noel "...One day, my sister wanted to surprise me for my birthday, so she and Serah went to the woods to gather some flowers to make a flower crown. We usually never ventured too far inside the woods, as my parents said that there might be wild creatures lurking inside them. As she and Serah were busy gathering the flowers. My sister noticed some beautiful bug and wanted to show it to Serah, when she turned her back to find her, she disappeared." Noel continued sipping the hot chocolate as he heard the story. "Panicked, my sister searched high and low for her whereabouts. We even called in the police for investigation yet in the end, she is still missing, until now." "And you thought that Serah was kidnapped by fairies, that's why she is missing?" Noel guessed. Joseph reluctantly nodded. "I was very convinced that she was kidnapped by fairies. I mean, how can it be possible to disappear without a trace in a blink of an eye? Even if she
Ricky Ricky stood silent in front of the hanger which have his cleanly washed and dried clothes. Deeply sighing, he put on the clothes and went downstairs to see a freshly cooked breakfast; a jambalaya and some orange juice placed nicely on the kitchen counter. He sat down in front of his breakfast and ate slowly. These incidents have happened to him for over two weeks since the first time it happened that it no longer startled him. He did try to not eat the breakfast that was served, only to find it inside his suddenly empty fridge that was usually filled with leftover food from when he didn't know. His house were also cleaned thoroughly that no speck of dust were seen on every corner of his lving space. Not to mention his whole mountain of clothes—that were living freely on the floor of his bedroom—were all washed, dried and folded while also arranged inside the closet. He looked around his house while he ate. His living room that was usually very d
Serah Serah panted as she trudged through the thorny path. His dark pink dress were tattered and smudged with dirt, and her face, clad with fear and confusion. Where am I? What is this place I’m in right now? She thought to herself while still limping slowly. She remembered she and Abigail went out to pick flowers for Joseph, her friend's little brother. "Ouch-" Serah stopped abruptly when her toes got cut by the thorn on the side of the road—adding more to her feet injury. Her shoes was torn about awhile ago, and it's been a long while since she's in this forest. As she was limping along the endless path, she finally decided to rest and sat on the side of the road. She winced when she touched her wound from the thorn earlier. "What should I do? There's no water here." All the days that she got stuck in the mysterious forest, she didn't eat and rely only on the murky swamp water that she woul
Ricky From the time after Noel had left him in the lecture hall, Ricky was left in a disheveled state. He was now alone in a bookstore, seeking for a reference book for Adam who suddenly have to manage the basketball team’s evening practice and asked Ricky to buy him books. “I told you, book A is better than book B. It contains better explanation and easy to remember short notes for an educationally dumb person like you.” Ricky told Adam as they talked by phone. Ricky flipped the pages of reference book B before his face twitched in disagreement. Then he put down the book on the display table before picking up reference book A that was just beside each other and was now reading reference book A about mechanical engineering. His eyebrows raised in agreement and satisfaction towards the contents. “Okay, okay. I know I’m dumb, but don’t you think that book C is better with me?” Ricky’s face contorted into a look of dismay. “Book
Izfar "I see." Izfar nodded his head after Serah finished her story of how she got inside the forest. "And then, you were found by Raon and Horan and were bought here?" Izfar asked for confirmation, Serah nodded at his question, even though she herself wasn’t sure how she got to the palace in the first place. Suddenly, her stomach grumbled, begging to be filled. Izfar widened his eyes in surprise while Serah held her grumbling stomach. "Are you hungry?" "Oh, this? It's okay, I'm used to being hungry in the forest." Serah childishly grinned. Izfar fell silent, his yellow eyes were cast down to inspect her features. Her dark blonde hair was messy and her body is scrawny, not fitting for a child like her. Yet, she could still smile happily although she's suffering on the inside. Izfar motioned his hand at the door. In an instant, two female elves appeared out of nowhere and paced near him. "Bring some light
RICKY’S POV “What the hell…?” I mumbled, reaching out my fingers to the floating sentence in front of me. It was untouchable, judging from my hands that went through the words like waving through air. If this sentence in front of me cannot be touched, then does that mean it was only in my mind? Scratching my hand that was bitten by mosquitoes, I fluttered my eyes several times, trying to make sure I was not hallucinating. The words really appeared in my mind. Soon after that, the words started to fade away—slightly different from the games because it faded like the shadows or your reflection on the surface of the water that wavered because of something touching the surface. I got up from the sofa—still glueing my eyes to the disappearing words—and turned around to the sliding door after the sentence had fully disappeared from my eyes. Still fazed, this hands of mine moved by itself, tugging the metallic door and sliding it close. The same was
RICKY’S POVI feel betrayed in many ways than one.No, seriously. If there are people outside there that wished to learn the basics of magic, without having even an ounce of Mana Reserve inside them, I advice you to quit.Even for me, who posses a huge amount of Mana, so huge that I can even restore my soulmate’s Mana Reserve to their fullest, can’t even handle my Mana very well.“Focus. I can sense your breath faltering.”A voice resounded in my mind, making it’s way through my eardrums and of course, completely destroying the last bit of focus that I have inside me. I heaved a huge exasperated sigh that sounded more like a grunt and glanced towards the sky in frustration.“Val! Look, I am trying my best to focus here. Can you at least be quiet?”“....I wouldn’t call it a focus if your thoughts wandered somewhere.”I gasped in surprise.“You&
Oberon In the darkness, a distant chiming bell became his guide. He wondered why was he in this condition—being suddenly trapped in the darkness that he had no knowledge of right after coming from another world—even so, his body—heavy and numb—felt very hard to move. Oberon laid still and let himself surrender to the darkness. It was black—everywhere—is black, yet it felt warm and gentle. A kind darkness if he may assume. He slowly regained his strength when he felt something soft and furry touching his forehead. Immediately after his strength completely came back to him, Oberon gradually opened his eyes. When his view is clear, Oberon saw someone unfamiliar above him was stroking his hair. It was a beastman, but from their build
(MIDNIGHT BASKING)(After having dinner and resting a bit in the tent)RickySomehow, Ricky couldn’t seem to fall asleep. Despite him, Noel and Adam who have had a little too much fun night trekking and frolicking around the area after they have their dinner that he should have felt tired by it, Ricky didn’t feel it, the sleepiness nor the fatigue. However, contrary to him, Adam is sleeping like a log beside him. The frequency of his snores is like begging for Ricky to clam his mouth shut and probably gave him a smack or two on his forehead. What a lass, disturbing people with his loud snores. There’s a reason as to why Ricky is slightly irked by Adam’s snores in particulr at that very moment. For Ricky, he doesn’t care that much if his friend snores, make a 720 degree roll until his t-shirt became a top tank, or even perform an acrobatic movement in sleep while having the legs smush everything in it&rsqu
Oberon (Noel)“Your majesty!”Izfar opened the door of the dressing room while yelling for Oberon’s name. Inside the room, the maids were fitting Noel—who had already returned to his original body—with some oriental clothes imbued with several enchantments.“Hey, Izfar. Long time no see.” Oberon grinned.Izfar showed a relieved look. “Welcome back.”“I’m back.”They both exchanged smiles.Unfortunately, they didn’t have time to sit down and have a talk as Oberon was preparing for protection ceremony by Madam Ruzka before he again departed into a new world. After wearing the full outfit for the ceremony, he headed to the main hall, where Madam Ruzka had awaited him.Chants of spells filled the hall, infusing a pool that was located at the middle of the hall with mana. Upon completion, the pool glowed with a bright, turquoise color. Without delay
NoelNoel heaved a deep sigh after he opened his eyes.“Hm? Where is he?”He darted his eyes around, searching for Ricky.“Hey.” A voice said, and he turned around.Ricky was sitting on a fallen tree trunk while crossing his legs lazily. He was holding his smartphone that had flashlight turned on and on his lap, the stacks of books were placed with one book on the top being opened by Ricky.“Took you long enough. I had already finished five chapters into the book. I even have to use a flashlight because the forest it too dark!”Ricky ranted. Noel was only able to laugh. He understood where Ricky was coming from, being left alone in a scary looking place and all.“I’m sorry.” Noel saidRicky sighed and ruffled his hair.He then stood up and brushed any dirt and dust from his clothes, before walking near Noel and handed him the three books.“Here. Mi
Noel/RickyEvening quickly came by, yet they both still lazed around on the couch.Closing the novel book he read, Ricky apouted, “As I thought, you should really move into-”“I won’t.” Noel immediately cut in.The both of them sat still.“Ricky, there is something I would like to tell you.” Noel spoke after a long while of silence.“What is it?” Ricky who was leaning against the sofa now sat straight as he gave his full attention to Noel. Noel also sat straight, slightly hesitating his decision.“I...” He paused. “It is time for me to go, to leave earth and venture into a new world.”Ricky froze. In one moment, he looked as if he really wanted to oppose the idea; with him frowning and stuff, yet in the next moment, he fell into a deep thought.“…Go on then.”Noel blinked his eyes in confusion. For more solid ev
NoelIt was the morning right after the big incident involving the whole world. It was supposed to be a big incident, but no news were stating about it and nothing showed up in social media regarding that issue. Most importantly, the neighborhood was too quiet, no damages, no casualties, and not even… sadness?Ricky frowned while folding the laundries.“Ricky, if you frown like that, the house spirits will get scared.” Noel stepped near while holding a laundry basket in his arms.“Oh, sorry.”Ricky apologized to some house spirits that were trembling in fear of him. Noel sat on the carpeted floor near him and took out the laundries to fold. Then they both went silent except for the whirring sound of the washing machine inside the laundry room.“Noel.” Ricky called and Noel glanced at him. “Am I that scary?”Noel narrowed his eyes. “What’s with this sudden question?&rdq
RickyAfter somehow managed to reach Noel’s house, he entered the unlocked door. Looking around, the surroundings were quiet.Ricky leaned on the sofa in the living room, while staring blankly at the wooden ceiling. In his mind, scenes of what happened earlier replayed for countless of times. It was as if reminding him that his life had changed the moment he became the Sol of a person named Noel Kieran, or to be more precise, Oberon. He remembered it vividly, how Noel emitted such powerful aura when he destroyed the undead army in a single blow. He somehow managed to assert dominance, while also fully expressing his beauty in the moonlit background. Seeing him like that made Ricky wonder if he was able to be like him or not.He also wanted to protect Noel from any harm, not wanting to be the one to always be protected. But how can he became like that? His eyes darted in
