Ricky’s POV

(The scene before Noel came to earth...)

After returning back from the school, I took a detour towards the nearest store to grab some food. Anything is fine, as long as I can fill my stomach. Entering the convenience store, my eyes darted towards the shelves of instant food and locked eyes with the only pack of chicken sammich that was placed on the shelves among all other food that was still a lot. The convenience store that I was in is popular with their delicious and generously packed chicken sammich, so it would always got sold out before I could even bought it. That's why I sometimes resorted in stealing it from other students.

The me who is able to buy the chicken sammich now is only by pure chance because they said it was the last pack and they would put a "SOLD OUT" sign on it's aisle. I bought the pack of chicken sammich and a bottle of mineral water, and whistled my way back home back home.

"I'm home."
