The sun had just risen when Stella returned to the Purple Moon Pack with a triumphant expression. Her long black hair that was usually neatly arranged was now a little messy, and blood stains decorated her leather jacket. Behind her, several warriors from her pack followed with heavy steps, carrying the lifeless body of the rogue.

Altair, who was waiting for Stella's news in the main hall, rose from his chair upon seeing his cousin. His eyes swept over Stella carefully, making sure she was unharmed.

"You're late," Altair said in a low tone. "What happened?"

Stella pushed aside the strands of hair that fell on her face, then folded her arms across her chest. "That Rogue is harder to catch than I thought. She had incredible agility, but in the end she was outmatched by us."

"And she died," Altair replied coldly.

Stella nodded, not looking the least bit sorry. "He was too dangerous to be left alive. Besides, she didn't give us much information, except for one important thing."

The snow that covered the forest created an atmosphere of piercing silence, only the roaring steps of Altair and Stella in wolf form could be heard. Altair, in his dashing white wolf form, led at the front with incredible speed. Stella followed closely, her gray wolf looking alert and full of concentration.Altair's mind whirled endlessly. The conversation before this trip kept haunting his mind.***"Altair, you have to trust Cygnus," Stella said as they talked in Stella's study. "If you and Enne are truly mates destined by the Moon Goddess, you have a bond with her. Use that to find her."Altair stared at Stella with a sharp gaze, her facial expression showing doubt. "That bond might not be strong enough. I've only marked it, and Enne... she hasn't even accepted Lynx's existence completely.""That's not important," Stella replied firmly. "You've already marked it. That's enough to start the bond between your inner wolves. You just need to ask Cygnus to search for Lynx's whereabouts.

Andhara was still silent.Lynx, who had long been silent due to his weakness, suddenly took over Enne's body. Golden light surrounded the girl's body, and in an instant, her body transformed into a beautiful golden brown wolf. The wolf instantly shot off at high speed, leaving the still shocked Andhara behind.'I know you're weak, Lynx,' Enne thought from inside her body. 'But thank you.'It's our job to survive, Enne,' Lynx replied in a determined tone. The cold wind and freezing snow were no obstacles. Lynx continued to run as fast as he could, crossing trees and jumping over roots hidden under the snow. However, behind him, the sound of heavy steps began to be heard.'He's chasing us,' Lynx said.Enne turned her head and saw Andhara in the form of a large, fearsome-looking black wolf, with fiery red eyes full of determination. She was getting closer, reducing the distance between them.***On the other side, Altair and Stella had arrived at a denser forest, where tall trees stood l

  • IM THE LUNA   Chapter 32. On the Threshold of Consciousness

The sky outside Purple Moon village was still gray, a sign that snow would fall again at any moment. Inside the warm healing room, the atmosphere remained tense even though the physical threat had passed. Altair stood by the window, his gaze blank through the misty glass. Enne lay unconscious, surrounded by the sharp yet soothing scent of herbs. Lynx, Enne's inner wolf, did not even make a sound. The healer was busy mixing herbs with quick but measured movements. Altair could only watch from a distance, his heart filled with an indefinable sense of anxiety.Andhara's name kept echoing in his mind, like a thorn piercing deep. Altair remembered the first time he faced Andhara. It was not a battle like tonight, but an encounter carefully designed by Andhara. At that time, Andhara deliberately provoked Altair to make the man almost pounce on him by turning into a wolf, unfortunately Enne was still there with them, it was the first time Enne saw Altair's transformation into a wolf, and of

The sound of small birds could be heard faintly from outside, giving the morning a peaceful atmosphere. Enne opened his eyes slowly, his eyelids feeling heavy. She tried to recognize her surroundings, but the room she was in was completely unfamiliar. The warm wooden walls with a small window in the corner gave a cozy feel, but also made him feel wary. Her body felt weak, and she realized there was an herbal scent enveloping this room. She tried to move, but her body seemed to refuse the command. Lynx, his wolf, still felt weak, though a little more alive than before.Enne's mind instantly recalled the battle she had witnessed last time-two giant wolves fighting in the middle of the snow. That white wolf... Altair. He was sure of it. Then the black wolf, Andhara. Why did she always get stuck in situations like this?Enne sighed softly, regretting his lack of caution. If only she had listened to Altair and not been so stubborn..."Altair will definitely be angry," she muttered softly.

The Stella-led pack was still wrapped in the quiet of the morning when Altair and Devota spoke in the small meeting room. The soft scent of firewood wafted through the air, but the tension between them was more pronounced than the calm atmosphere outside. Stella had left to oversee the departure preparations, while Devota began her report with a serious face."The village is recovering," Devota said, opening the conversation. Her voice was calm but there was an urgent tone behind it. "The damage from the last attack has been repaired, and the warriors you assigned have maintained security well. But..."Altair raised an eyebrow, gesturing for Devota to continue."But this can't last," Devota admitted. "They need you there, Alpha. Your presence is important to maintain morale. The pack members are starting to get restless."Altair leaned back in his chair, his eyes narrowing. "What's making them uneasy?"Devota let out a long breath, then looked directly into Altair's eyes. "Rumors abou

In the depths of a rocky mountain, far from the reach of humans and wolves alike, an old woman sat cross-legged in the silence of the cave. Only the sound of water dripping from the stalactites broke the silence. Lyra, with her long silver hair hanging down, closed her eyes while letting her mind merge with the surrounding nature. Her calm aura enveloped the cave, creating a sacred atmosphere.Suddenly, from the opening of the cave, a white eagle darted in quickly. It soared down and stopped right in front of Lyra, its talons gripping the scroll sealed with Altair's mark.Lyra opened her eyes slowly, as if she already knew what was coming. Gently, she reached out and took the scroll. Her sharp eyes stared at the letter for a while before taking a deep breath."Altair..." she murmured softly, as if reading the name on the wax seal. However, she did not open it. Instead, Lyra simply grasped the letter and returned her gaze to the darkness of the cave. Whatever the letter contained, the

The night sky was filled with thick clouds that obscured the moonlight, creating a dark atmosphere over the Altair pack territory. Snow fell slowly, wrapping the ground in a cold white layer. Although the night seemed quiet, the air around the pack was filled with a palpable tension.Altair stood tall in the center of the main field, his body enveloped in a powerful Alpha aura. In front of him, the warriors were ready with weapons in hand and spirits high. Their eyes looked confident, even though they knew great danger was approaching."Alpha," Devota's voice broke the silence, "They are approaching from the north. We count them much more numerous than the previous attack."Altair nodded slowly, his gaze fixed on the dark forest. "Maintain the front line. Don't let them pass through the gate. I will lead from the front."Devota saluted, then moved quickly to give orders to the warriors.Meanwhile, inside the healer's house, Enne sat restlessly on his bed. His body still felt weak, but

Morning greeted Pack Altair with an astonishing silence. After the brutal attack the night before, the warriors and other pack members were busy tending to their wounds. Healers and omegas were hard at work, making sure all the wounded received adequate care. However, amidst the hustle and bustle, two figures stood tall without needing assistance-Altair and Stella. As Alphas, both possessed extraordinary regeneration abilities that allowed their wounds to heal in a matter of hours. But there was no time for relief. Altair's mind was still filled with questions about the rogue attack and the motives behind it.On the other hand, Enne sat on the terrace of the healer's house. His face was pale, but his mind was in turmoil. She knew that what she was about to tell Altair could change everything. With Lynx slowly recovering, Enne felt a greater responsibility to tell what she knew.***Altair found Enne a short while later. He approached the girl with steady steps, Stella was behind him,

A gray sky stretched over the Altair pack territory. Thick clouds hung low, as if pressing down on the ground with an invisible weight. The cold air reached down to the bones, carrying a faint scent of wet earth and blood.Stella waited in the meeting room, her gaze fixed on the open door. As soon as Altair stepped inside, followed by Enne, she cut in without preamble."We need to talk," she said firmly.Altair raised one eyebrow. "If this is about patrols, Stella, I've already increased the guards at the border.""That's not it." Stella gave Enne a quick glance, before looking back at Altair. "It's about Nathalie and Andhara. They are a threat to your pack. We can't ignore that fact.""Andhara is indeed an enemy," Altair admitted in a low voice. "I don't want to admit it but she had a hand in bringing back Etienne's inner wolf.""Rash decision," Stella cut in. "You should have locked them up until we really knew what they were planning. We don't even know who's controlling those stra

  • IM THE LUNA   Chapter 73. After Returning

The morning air felt heavier as Enne stood at the edge of the balcony, looking up at the slowly brightening sky. His hands grasped the wooden railing, trying to find peace after the journey they had just gone through last night. However, something was bothering him-a faint whisper that had lingered in his mind since their return from the spirit world."You must go back to remember everything."The voice came again, clearer than before. Enne felt something inside him-a strange energy that he had never felt before. Ever since his inner wolf returned, there was a part of him that felt changed.Footsteps sounded from behind. She didn't need to turn her head to know who was approaching."Still thinking about last night's trip?" Altair's voice sounded low and calm, as usual.Enne nodded slowly. "It feels... like something's not right. Like something came back with us."Altair stood beside her, his eyes staring intently at the sky as if searching for answers. "I feel it too," he said. "But w

The air around them changed. The temperature dropped drastically, and a dense fog enveloped the place. Enne blinked, trying to understand where they were after the explosion of light from the moonstone. The sound of the wind blowing sounded like a whisper, slipping between the lifeless trees around them.Altair stood beside her, his breathing heavy and his jaw hardened. Nathalie as well as Andhara looked uneasy, her eyes scanning the shadows moving in the distance."We're... not in the same place," Enne murmured, her voice trembling."Definitely not," Altair replied, his voice deep and alert. "I don't like this."Suddenly, footsteps sounded from behind the mist. A tall figure in dark robes appeared, his eyes glowing silvery like the moon. He stood in front of them expressionlessly, exuding an ancient aura that gave Enne goosebumps."Welcome to the true spirit world," he said, his voice echoing through the air."Who are you?" Altair asked sharply."Someone who has been waiting for you.

  • IM THE LUNA   Chapter 71. Further Investigation

That morning, before the sun had fully risen into the sky, Enne, Altair, Andhara and Nathalie left the pack territory and began their journey towards the cave Andhara was referring to. The forest they had to pass through was darker and quieter than usual. The trees towered high, forming a thick canopy that let only a little sunlight penetrate to the ground. The air was cold, carrying the scent of wet leaves after last night's rain. Enne stared at the street below him, his mind spinning at Andhara's confession."Moonstone..." she murmured softly.Back then, the last time Andhara had kidnapped her, there was something different about the man. The look in his eyes, the way he spoke, and his aura felt more... dark. Now everything was starting to make sense. The moonstone was not just a legend, but something real and influential.Enne clenched his fists, determined. If the stone had anything to do with Lynx's disappearance, then he had to find it.Currently, they were on their way to the c

Andhara hid in the shadow of the wooden building not far from the room where Nathalie was being held. Her eyes were sharp, watching from a small gap, taking in every movement in the room. She knew this was dangerous. She shouldn't be here. But after hearing that Nathalie was captured by Altair and brought into the pack's territory, Andhara could not stay silent. She wanted to know what happened to her partner.More than that, she wanted to make sure that Altair and Stella didn't find anything that could harm her. However, what she did not expect was to see Enne in the room, talking to Nathalie.Andhara narrowed her eyes. What was he doing there?Enne sat in a chair across from Nathalie, trying to talk to her. Her gestures suggested that she wasn't interrogating, but rather trying to understand.Andhara frowned. But she didn't have much time to analyze it further.Because in an instant, before she could realize what was happening, someone moved from behind her-and suddenly the world ar

  • IM THE LUNA   Chapter 69. Voices in the Darkness

The night wind crept into the cave where Andhara was hiding, bringing with it a chill that pierced to his bones. He leaned against the rough stone wall, his body tired after days of being directionless. His eyes stared blankly into the darkness, but his mind was much darker than that. Ever since then-since he failed to protect himself, failed to protect his inner wolf, failed to maintain control-the voices in his head had been getting more and more intense."Shut up."He pressed the sides of his head together, his fingers gripping his own hair. However, the voice did not disappear. It remained, whispering, demanding, threatening."You think you can run from me? From us?"That voice was not his inner wolf. Andhara knew. Her inner wolf was supposed to be a part of her, not an alien force lurking in the darkness, waiting for an opportunity to take control. But he couldn't hear his inner wolf anymore. Just like Enne.Damn it.He closed his eyes, trying to control her ragged breathing. He

  • IM THE LUNA   Chapter 68. Hidden Feelings

Enne sat on the side of his bed, his hand gently rubbing the cool surface of the blanket. His mind had been wandering since the events of last night. Altair had caught him in Nathalie's room, and although he didn't get angry right away, his cold demeanor clearly showed that he didn't approve of Enne's actions. She bit her lip lightly. She knew Altair was just worried, but she could not stay silent either. Lynx was still missing, and the only person who might be able to help-Andhara-was still missing. The door to the room suddenly opened, revealing Altair standing tall with an unreadable expression. His sharp eyes scanned Enne for a few moments before he finally stepped inside and closed the door behind him."What are you thinking?" Altair's heavy voice broke the silence.Enne turned her head and looked at him. "I'm thinking about Lynx. About Andhara."Altair took a breath, then walked towards her. "And you think that talking to Nathalie will give you answers?"Enne nodded, but hesitat

  • IM THE LUNA   Chapter 67. Conversations at Night

Enne walked slowly along the corridor, carrying a tray of steaming hot food. Only the sound of her footsteps could be heard, echoing off the stone walls of Altair's pack house. To be honest, she was a little nervous. Altair would be furious if he found out he was taking over Jessica's duty to deliver food to Nathalie. Not because he cared whether Nathalie ate or not, but because he didn't want Enne to be in danger. But Enne felt she had to do this.Nathalie had remained silent ever since they brought her to the pack house. No answers, no resistance, not even a curse like prisoners who refused to be detained would usually utter. It was as if she had completely shut herself off from all of them. And Enne wanted to know why. When she arrived in front of the room where Nathalie was locked up, she caught her breath, then knocked gently on the door."Come in," came the voice from inside, flat and emotionless.Enne opened the door slowly. The room was quite cozy compared to the cold and damp

The sun was still hiding behind the horizon when Altair, Enne, Stella, and a few of Altair's confidants prepared to depart. The morning air was cold, but the tension between them was enough to chase away any drowsiness or laziness.Enne was wearing a light combat suit-something Stella had prepared for her. The clothes allowed for quick movement, and although still not fully accustomed to the role of a fighter, she knew that she could not rely solely on Altair's protection forever.Altair stood in front of them, his tall body like that of a leader ready to lead his troops. "We don't know what we'll face there. Andhara is cunning, and we need to be smarter than her."Everyone nodded."And you," Altair looked at Enne. "Stay by my side. Don't act rashly."Enne wanted to argue, but seeing the sharp look in Altair's eyes, she finally just nodded.Stella grinned. "Don't worry, I'll take care of her."Altair glanced at his cousin. "You'd rather cause trouble than look after someone."Stella l
