Chapter 12: Counterattack!

Annie made an appointment with Justin at the restaurant where she saw him with his other lovely girlfriend.

“You want to tell me something?”- he gasped.

Annie has just ordered some dishes. 

“I don’t need a reason to meet you. I just miss my boy.”-she smiled.

Justin was a bit surprised: "Bella, you've never been like this before... Is something wrong?" 

Annie was startled, her movements suddenly stiffened.

She has no memory of Bella, so she couldn’t know exactly how the real Bella treats people, the system hasn’t mentioned it either…

This time…

If this guy could see that she was acting, that would be a mess.

Annie tried to be calm, putting the cup of tea on the table and smiled:

 "Is there anything different? Shouldn't girls be more open and attractive? Don't you like me like this?”

"No... not really." Justin was startled: "It’s just... not very familiar..."

"Yeah, that’s okay… You'll get used to it soon."-she said.

"So the purpose of our date today is just... to see me?" Looking at her beautiful face, he suddenly had an intense feeling.

“How wonderful would it be if this beautiful woman lay with me…”- a dark thought came to his mind.

Staring at him, she quickly caught that crazy thought. Annie smiled mysteriously and said, "Actually, I want to tell you something."

“So… what’s that?”-he said,

"Actually, I found a very interesting video. Hm…no, not one, there are so many videos.”

"What is it? I don’t know there was something that interested you." He took a sip of water. He seemed not to pay much attention to those stupid videos. He never thinks that Bella would call him out here for such an unimportant matter. So he very calmly listened to her.

Annie took the phone and opened a video. The video has no sound, but Justin could recognize everything from the mouth shape of the two people.

"What the hell...Bella... what is this?"-he trembled.

"What? Don't you know?" Annie smiled. 

"Bella... I can explain..." he said. Contrary to his expression, Annie was still calm:

"What's wrong with you? Just tell me if you want!”

Justin really wanted to talk. He constantly convinced himself, trying to open his mouth to say something. But what should he say now? And Bella, her face looked so scary. The truth is exposed, so it's useless to explain…

Annie didn't want to make it harder for him, she smiled: 

"Don't be so nervous! I just wanted to show that for you, this is not the end of us."

“Not finished yet? What do you really want?”-he thought.

Annie seemed to understand his sentiment, she was very generous: 

"I just want to ask you to do one thing. Anyway, you’ve been working for Dustin for a long time, it's okay to do something more, right?"

“You… why do you know…?” Justin was totally surprised. Why does she know that? It was obvious that he had hidden it so well…

“Why do I know? That’s because…”

Back to last night…

After knowing that Dustin would not hire the stalker anymore, she immediately returned to her room. Annie didn’t know about the relationship between the stalker with her husband. But she had to find out first.

"Hey, do you have any information about Justin?"- Annie poked the screen, talking to the system.

[I don't know, you must have ten divorce papers to exchange for the system's character information search function.]- The system answered honestly.

“...” 

"Are you serious, how can I have?" -she was kind of angry.

What a rotten system!

Annie threw the phone aside, turning on the computer to text assistant Steve.

[Finding Justin's information for me, everything about him. Then send it to me as soon as possible. Thanks.]

[No, I can’t. Isn't that your little boyfriend? Why do you need his information?]

[That’s obvious. He is my boyfriend so I have to ask you. I always believe in you!]

Finally, Steve also found some specific information about Justin. At twelve o'clock at night, he submitted the information to Annie.

Back to the present…

Annie thought for a while, then decided not to tell to Justin. She closed her eyes and said: 

"It doesn’t matter." 

She tapped the table, looking at the young man sitting in front of herself, the tone carried a bit of joking: 

"I don't like things that get out of control and go far from my plan. It makes me feel dangerous and uncomfortable. Do you know how I handle things like that?”

Justin startled, looking straight into her eyes…

“I ruined them all.”

During the conversation, Annie kept staring at him, creating a stuffy atmosphere. 

“So… what do you want from me…?”- he trembled.

Annie reached into her bag, taking out a card: "This money belongs to you if you accept my conditions. If I remember correctly, you have a little girlfriend right?”

At first, he thought that he could cheat on her, steal that money, and complete Dustin’s order. But when Annie mentioned Amber, he felt a bit scared:

"You... what have you done to her...?"

“No, no… Don't look at me like that, I haven't done anything to her, at least for now."

After saying that, she continued to pull out a bunch of photos from her pocket, giving them to Justin.

"If you don't accept, your little girl will have to say goodbye to this world."

After that, Annie took another USB to show him.

 "I will never tell a lie. If you don't believe me, I'll take you there to see the lover."

Justin looked at his girlfriend tied on a chair, her face was full of fear. She was shaking her head vehemently, struggling to get free. He could not stand it but still tried to be tough.

" Damn you! Aren't you afraid I'll call the police?"

Annie was still very calm: "Look around! Do you see anyone else except you and me?”

He immediately came to his senses.

That's right, from the moment they entered here, no one other than the manager has ever come in. Furthermore, this is not the previous manager…

“Don't think of ways against me. You have no evidence to report to my husband, nor do you have the ability to run away from me. Once you step in here, you only have two options, either listen to me or accept that you and your little girlfriend both prepare to meet the person you don't want to meet the most."

"I have the way to fight you as well as the police"-she continued.

“Tell me, what do you want? And why do you aim at me?” At that time, he had no choice.

“Aim at you? Do you deserve it?" You’re just a normal man, why do I have to waste my time on you? My goal is the divorce application.

After a while, he still accepted  her request: "Okay, whatever you want, I will listen to you."

"What a strong man, you’re always willing to sacrifice for your love." Annie smiled, her eyes covered with disgust and contempt.
