Every werewolf that reached adulthood would find his mate or her. But that didn't happen to me and Alpha King. Even though we are adults, our friends were all married, we were still alone.

For werewolves, if the mate showed up late, it meant that they needed to become more mature, but there were werewolves without a mate. A werewolf without a mate would be a very pitiful werewolf, sometimes others would laugh at and scorn, but of course no one dared to despise me and Alpha King.

The difference between me and Alpha King was that he was still happily waiting for his mate, he believed that his mate would definitely appear but I didn't. I did not believe in mates, nor did I believe in a man who could heal me, because I had been deeply hurt and did not believe in love.

No one could heal my hurt. Even if I couldn't save myself, no one could save me.

I secretly decided that if there was no love, no happiness, I must definitely become the most powerful woman in the wolf society.
