After setting the engagement day, there was another problem that caused me a lot of headaches, that I had to inform my parents about my engagement. My father was quite easy going but my mother was not. She certainly didn't agree that I chose the date of the engagement and then informed her.

When my mother was angry, he became extremely scared. I lay in Alpha King's embrace, my head hurt just thinking about it. I sighed continuously making it impossible for Alpha King to concentrate on work.

Normally Alpha King wouldn't work when he was with me, but since he wanted us to spend more time together, if he only needed to read the reports he would stay with me.

There were times when I read books and Alpha King read reports sent by werewolves from many places. Sometimes he frowned because what was written in the report is not what he wanted, then I would signal him to smile. Alpha King would smile and no longer grimace.
