GINA

I sat at what seemed to be the living room of the vs vsvmansion where the boss of the Bloody Fangs mafia group, Devon Fenrir lived. It also seems to be the group's headquarters.

I thought we lived in affluence but this mansion dwarfed ours in more ways than one.

A large and expansive living room with a high ceiling, golden chandeliers, large paintings with inscriptions of a language I don't understand on them, golden furnitures that glittered under the rays of sunlight coming through the windows.

Beyond it were flights of stairs leading to tow wings of the mansion and I could see a lot of activity on them, with people who I believe re workers walking up and down the stairs as they performed their respective tasks.

The beauty of the mansion would have been even more appealing if I didn't know the true nature of its master.

"The ugliest things always hide their true nature in the most beautiful shells," I muttered as I sat patiently in wait for my audience.

Soon I heard footsteps walking towards me and looked up to find a hulk of a man walking towards me. His biceps were about thrice the size of my arm and he stood at an intimidating 6'5 in height. His handsome face had a small scar running down his cheeks and his brown eyes were mean and imposing.

He looked every bit like a thug.

A pretty brutal one to be exact.

"Gina Harrington?" he asked in a deep voice that seemed to reverberate off the walls.

"Yes," I nodded. "And you are."

"Follow me," he said and turned around. "The boss is ready to see you."

I followed quietly as I clutched the gun in my bag.

I wasn't foolish enough to go into a mafia boss' lair without some sort of protection against an attack. Even if I can't fend them all off, I'd at least take one or two with me.

I clutched the gun even harder as we climbed up the stairs, and passed through a few confusing hallways until we eventually stopped in front of a beautifully decorated door.

The Hulk opened the door and gestured for me to go in.

"After you."

I nodded and walked in without much hesitation.

I was doing my best to look and seem calm and confident. I needed to show them that I would not be intimidated.

Maybe. Just maybe, we might come to a fair negotiation and agreement.

The office was every bit as impressive as I had expected it to be judging from the living room. It had a similar setting with the golden furniture. It has a small living room setting at the right corner of the room with a resin table in the middle.

His office desk is made of wood and some sort of reflective material which gave it a mirror-like surface.

"Welcome, Gina Harrington," the most gorgeous man I've seen in all my years greeted me with a dashing smile.

His blue eyes were electrifying, pulling me into their depths with cunning elegance. His facial features were perfect, as if created by an genius sculptor unlike the one who created everyone else. Even his smile could serve as a potent distraction.

Even as he is seated, I could see the muscles under his shirt. Though not as bulky as the Hulk beside me, I could see the lean and powerful muscles beneath his clothes, ensuring an aesthetic nature while also maximising sreneth over bulk.

"Miss, Gina?" he called, pulling me out my reverie. "Are you okay?"

"Um, yeah," I nodded. "Thank you for having me, Mr Devon Fenrir."

"You can simply call me Devon," he smiled charmingly.

I did my best to ignore that warm smile and his easy-going nature and remind myself that this was the face of the monster who has been making the lives of my family a living hell for a while now.

"I would like to get straight to the point if you would allow me?" I said once I sat down.

"Oh, don't be in a hurry," he said as he picked a glass and bottle of vodka from the other end of the office. "Do you drink?"

"I'd rather not," I replied. "I don't want anything from you. I simply want to talk about your involvement with my family."

"Are you here to pay off your father's debt?"

"No," I replied. "I'm here to tell you that he has been framed. My father is a honest businessman. He would never breach an agreement by stealing."

"No honest businessman gets themselves involved with the mafia, honey," he said as he poured himself a glass. "And no one rises as high as your father did."

"He is a human after all and he is flawed," I retorted. "What does he stand to gain from stealing your money and living in the misery he lives in now. This issue has torn my family apart. My mother is shadow of herself and my dad is just... paranoid and defeated."

"You're asking the wrong person, sweetheart," he shrugged. "You should be asking your father what he gains from this life."

"You know what I think?" I said as I reached in my bag and clutched the gun tight, placing my finger on the trigger. "I think you framed him. I think you made brought the deal to him and framed him so that you could acquire his riches."

"And what do I stand to gain?" he smiled. "I'm at least ten times richer than you father."

"Well, my dad is fairly comfortable with what he had before he met you," I retorted. "I could pose the same question to you."

"Then ask him yourself," he replied.

"You framed him and you would tell me," I said coldly as I took out the gun and pointed it at him. "Or I'll blow your brains this second."

He poured himself another glass with almost no urgency and pointed at his head.

"Aim carefully and don't miss. You're dead if you do.”
