I brought the new girl into my house and my mother was just staring at us, looking all lost.

The young girl greeted my mother, and she just nodded and was looking at me, finding the explanations on my face.

I took the young girl to the guest room, "this will be where you will be staying for now."

"Thank you so much, Dr Sandra," she said and I closed the door behind me. I went to meet my mother in the living room.

"Who was that?"

"Just a girl I met in the clinic this morning, she just lost her mother before I arrived."

"Oh my! Sorry about that hun."

"She is an orphan now and I decided to give her a better life."

"That's fine, but you should have done that from afar, rather than bringing in a total stranger into the house. You know it's risky, right?"

"Yeah, I am aware but I couldn't just let her go."
