Millie didn't know the answer, nor did she dare to reply.

"Clear your mind and look straight ahead."

Millie took a deep breath and calmed down. She began getting used to the recoil.

This time, she didn't miss the target. She managed to hit the edge of it.

Her palms were covered in sweat, and she could barely hold the gun.

"Are you so nervous just because I'm here?"

Pierce's half-amused voice rang out. Millie wasn't even sure if he was getting this close to her on purpose. His thin lips were almost pressed against her skin, and his hot and humid breaths kept entering her ear.

"N-No."

"Then why are your ears so red?"

As soon as Pierce finished speaking, Millie took in a sharp breath. Pierce had actually bitten her, and it hurt a little.

But he soon let go of her. He moved his tongue around as if to caress the spot where it hurt.

He did all this in quick succession. Beside them, Jason was still celebrating the fact that he managed to hit the 9-ring, so he didn't notice what was
