Stefan was at a loss for words. He felt his anger bubbling within him with nowhere to go.

"Pierce, are you turning against me for a mere woman?"

With a cold look on his face, he straightened his back. He refused to be intimidated.

"Remember, our families have very close connections, and we have numerous partnerships in business. It's not worth it to abandon all that for the sake of a woman, let alone a woman who would make use of everything to survive.
