Chapter 03 - Her life

Jack reached the hospital in the car.
He has brought the director of the hospital with him as well.
All the staff members and doctors wished him well while seeing the director of the hospital right now. But the director is not in the mood to greet them back because he is in such a rush.
"May I know where is Sebastian Richardson?" Jack was interrogated for the information.
"Pardon me?" The receptionist was confused.
"Hello, director." The doctor came and wished - the one who operated on Sebastian.
"Where is Sebastian Richardson?" The director yelled out in frustration.
No one knows: what is the name of the person Angelina has admitted? Even the doctor is confused.
"A patient who met with an accident has been admitted to your hospital." Jack takes out his phone and shows Sebastian's photo.
"I’m talking about him; look carefully."
The doctor scanned the photo and groaned after a second as the person banged his head.
"Oh yes, I have operated on him."
"Where the hell is he?" The director asked in a hurry.
Jack plops his phone in his pocket.
"I have kept him in the ER." The doctor answered.
"What the hell? How could you put him in the normal ward with other patients?" The director yelled at the top of his lungs, grabbing every staff member's attention.
"He is Sebastian Richardson, owner of the SR's, AI company." The director revealed the information.
The receptionist shut her mouth with her hand - she'd heard enough about him these days but even now the doctor recognises Sebastian.
"Oh my god, I don't know; I'm sorry." The doctor bent his head and apologized to him.
"Doctor, where is he?" Jack inquired.
"Please come with me." Taking the initiative, the doctor takes them to the ward.
Jack rushed to Sebastian as his eyes captured him.
"Boss, are you okay?" Jack tried to talk to him.
The rest of the top doctors also arrives at the ward upon the arrival of the director and knowing the owner of the SR company here.
"What is his condition?" The director asked.
"I've just operated on him. There is an injury on his head, but it is not a serious one. He will regain consciousness in a while." The doctor explained everything while checking the chart once again so that he should not make any mistakes in front of the director now.
"What is your name?" Jack asked the doctor, who operated on Sebastian.
"Doctor John." He introduced himself, extending a hand to handshake with Jack, but Jack doesn't handshake but rather makes the call.
Dr. John pulls his hand away in response to Jack's ignorance.
"Please make discharge papers; I want to shift him to our hospital before the reporters find out about his accident!" Jack said to the director while on the call.
"Sure!"
"Have you guys heard? Make the discharge papers quickly." The director passed an order.
"Okay, director."
Dr. John's assistant and nurse run out to make discharge papers, and the rest of the nurses take over the control of the patients, keeping them silent.
There was no time to shift Sebastian to the VIP room, as he was about to shift to another hospital, so the guards blocked the ward from one side for Sebastian's protection.
All the patients are gazing at them as was the movie playing in front of them.
Guards are standing for protection for Sebastian, and doctors and nurses are running while working for him.
On another hand, Jack is roaming here and there, talking and handling things on the call.
He is a tall boy with a muscular body.
Whenever he moves his hands left-right and up-down, his flat abs show even in the dress, which makes him so sexy.
He is just so sexy—all the female staff members are stalking Jack instead of working. He is just a hotshot.
"Dr. John, please come with me. I need your cooperation as you operate on him!" Jack asked John to come with them.
"Sure, he will come with you." The director replied instead of Doctor John. Indeed, Dr. John has never seen a director being so hurried as right now.
Soon, Jack signed discharge papers and made payment through the credit card. Sebastian hasn't regained consciousness yet, so Jack is in a hurry and has forgotten about the person who saved Sebastian's life.
There is only one thing running through his mind: save his master at any cost.
The ambulance stops outside, and the guards themselves take Sebastian inside. Jack and Doctor John get into the ambulance.
"Thanks for your cooperation." Jack thanked the director for his cooperation.
The director is standing in front of the ambulance, and all the doctors are standing behind him.
"It's okay. Please send my love to Mr. Richardson." The director said, bending his head, and the rest of the doctors says - goodbye to Jack while bowing their heads after the director.
The ambulance doors closed and it disappeared from the place.
Everyone sighed in relief.
Everything settled down in only twenty minutes; no one could take a breath at that time.

"That patient, he is out." The receptionist said.
"Out, what?" Angelina yelled out, widening her eyes.
"What are you saying?" The receptionist opened her mouth to explain things, but Angelina cut her off, baffled.
"Don't say it to me, you haven't operated on the patient because you haven't got the money."
"How is the patient? Call the doctor who has taken charge of my patient."
"He promised me that he will treat the patient, but now what are you saying—he is out, what does it mean?"
Angelina screamed at the top of her lungs while exhaling her breath and sucking her teeth.
The receptionist looks at Angelina with her wide mouth.
"Ma'am, would you like to hear me?"
"What do you want to say now?" Angelina kicked her hand on the table.
"The doctor has operated on your patient." The receptionist revealed the information while scared of Angelina's temper.
"What?" Angelina sounded, looking at the receptionist.
"Then what do you mean, he's out?"
"After you left, a family member came and shifted him to another hospital." Angelina sighed in relief.
"Here you go." The receptionist hands over Angelina's student card, chain, and 100 dollars.
"The patient's family has paid the full payment, so take your stuff."
Instead of taking the student card, and 100 dollars, Angelina takes the gold chain the first place, which is all leftover memory of her mother.
The chain is the pendant model. She opens the pendant key; there is a photo inside the pendant.
"The photo she clicked with her parents when she was 5 years old."
She takes the photo towards her lips, kissing her beautiful mom and dad in the photo.
Tears rolled down her cheeks, but she wouldn't let the tears out. She had given her gold chain to save the man for the piece of guarantee.
“I’m sorry, mother; I had kept your chain for the guarantee. You know, when I handed this over to the doctor, I was so sad, my heart was broken, and I wanted to cry, but all I have done is an attempt to save the person's life.”
She mumbled to herself while rolling her hands on the photo before wearing a chain around her neck.
She was so broken when she was handed over this chain to the doctor, but now everything is fine. His dearest mother's chain has come back to her, yippy. She jumped in the air while grabbing the chain of the pendant.
"Oh, yes, how is the patient?" Angelina asked.
"He is fine."
"Glad to listen." Angelina sounded, putting her money and student card in the purse.
"Tell the doctor thanks for giving me a chance and for saving the patient." She thanked me while stepping out of the hospital.
She won't inquire about the man whom she admitted - she is just glad, he is alive and sound safe. She doesn't have any idea about - who is Sebastian Richardson.
She closed her eyes as the cold wind touched her face
She missed the interview, so what?
If you missed the interview today, you can go tomorrow to give an interview and succeed, but you don't always get a chance to save a person's life.
She was so sad a minute ago that she missed an interview, but not anymore.
Grabbing her chain with one hand and grabbing her bag handle with another, she is walking towards the road while dancing in the meantime.
She walked to the bus stop, caught it, and sat inside.
"Holy moly, I’m so lucky there is no crowd today and I got a window seat." She yelled inside while opening the window and taking in the fresh air.
Wow, this is called life.
It is very difficult for a normal civilian to travel by bus, and getting a seat is even more difficult. Holy crap, what a creepy life!
But getting a window seat is also a piece of happiness for travelers, window lovers...!
She makes her way to the cafe where she works.
