Chapter 11

Third Person's Point Of View 

"Do you want to hear a story, Bree?" 

"I'll listen." Aubrey said

They are walking in the seashore, fingers intertwined. 

"There is a girl who has everything, that's what everyone thought little they didn't know.. there were two things that she doesn't have.. her dignity and the only person she ever loved, her child." Elisa took a deep breath "She lost her dignity when a group of bastards decided to took it, she was rape." 

Aubrey gasped "Oh my god." 

"After the nightmare happened to her life, a new hope came to her life. She got pregnant with one of her rapists but she was happy to have that little angel in her life. Her life came back to normal, until it crashed again. Her father wants to send the little angel to the orphanage, the girl refuses and runs away and meets with an accident. She lost her child in that accident. She lost everything." 

They reached a bench and sat on it. 

"She started from nothing, she refused to accept the money from her father, she worked hard, started a small business until she reached where she is now. The owner of Sophia hotel. Named after her daughter, Sophia Taylor." 

"Elisa.." Aubrey is crying "You're.." she covered her mouth to prevent a sob "I'm so sorry." 

Elisa pulled Aubrey in a hug "You said that you want to know me more, better to start it with my past." She kissed Aubrey's head while the latter was sobbing against her chest "I'm a lonely person, Aubrey. I'm so used to being alone not until I saw that night."

"You have us now, Eli. Me, Gab and my family.." she released herself from Elisa's hug "We are family now." 

Elisa lovingly caressed Aubrey's cheek "Thank you." 

"Eli.." Aubrey closed her eyes, holding Elisa's hand on her face 

When she opened her eyes, Elisa's face was only inches away from hers. 

"Can.. I kiss you, Bree?" Elisa looked at Aubrey's eyes with full of sincerity 

Aubrey just nodded with a smile on her lips. 

Slowly, Elisa leaned in and captured Aubrey's lips with hers. 

Their lips moved in sync, so soft and delicate. 

Elisa was the one who pulled away "Let's go? While I still have self control not to pin you.." 

"Ugh! You're ruining the moment! Run while you still can! I'll skin you alive!" The kitten said, threatening her companion 

Elisa nervously chuckled, slowly she stood up and walked backwards "I was just kidding, Bree." 

"Run, Elisa!" Aubrey stood up and chased Elisa 

Elisa ran for her life "Bree! I'm sorry!" 

"Say that to your pervert self, Elisa!" Aubrey shouted 

Elisa and Aubrey laughed and continued to run around the beach, not minding the weird stares from the people around them.

"Good evening, Miss."

The receptionist plastered a flirty smile at Elisa "Good evening, Ma'am. Do you have a reservation?" 

"Yes, reservation for Elisa Taylor." 

Aubrey glared at the receptionist. 

'You look like a poop' 

"Baby, I'm starving." Aubrey clung her hand in Elisa's arm "Let's eat." 

Elisa sensed why Aubrey is acting that way. Her Bree is jealous. 

"Okay, BABY." Elisa emphasised the endearment 

Aubrey smirked at the receptionist "Can you accompany me and my girlfriend to our table?" 

The receptionist wants to glare at the kitten but she can't.

"So, baby.." 

"Don't start with me, Elisa." Aubrey warned Elisa 

"What? You're the one who called me baby first!" Elisa said before eating a cut of beef steak 

"Yeah because you're enjoying flirting with the receptionist." Aubrey rolled her eyes on Elisa

Elisa snickered "You were just jealous." she whispered 

Before she could say something for herself, her phone rang. 

She fetched her phone from her purse. 

"It's Oliver." She informed her companion 

"Give it to me." Elisa demanded 

An idea popped in Aubrey's mind. 

'Payback.'

She pressed the green button and said "Hello, Oliver." in a flirty way 

Aubrey intentionally pressed the speaker button for Elisa to hear what Oliver will say. 

"Hey, Aubrey. Look, I'm sorry. I regret everything I did. Can we talk tomorrow? Just us?" 

"Sure..."

Elisa snatched the phone from Aubrey's hand "Sorry my girlfriend is with me to have time for you. Better stay away from her if you don't want to mess with the wrong person." Elisa sternly said and ended the call

"Elisa! What was that for?" Aubrey acted mad but she's celebrating inside because her plan worked

"So you're going to meet your ex? You'll agree to meet him in front of me?" Elisa is mad, most certainly disappointed at Aubrey

"I.." Aubrey laughed "I was just messing with you. Of course I won't meet that cheater again." 

Elisa sighed "Bree.. He cheated on you?" 

Aubrey bit her lower lip "He.." she sighed, ``there is no way to lie anymore "Yeah. He cheated on me with a college friend. Look, Elisa, don't tell my family about this, most especially to Noah, he has a heart problem, if he finds out about this.. he will kill Oliver and it won't be good to his heart." 

"Wait.. Noah has a heart problem?" Elisa can't take all the information that Aubrey is feeding her

"Is it hard to absorb all the information?" Aubrey slightly smiled 

Elisa shrugged "Kinda but at least I'm learning things not only about you but to your fam also." 

"So.. girlfriend huh?" Aubrey teased "Did I say yes to you already?" 

Elisa groaned "Bree!" 

Aubrey laughed "We're even now."
