Chapter 13

Third Person's Point Of View 

After the big project that Elisa gave to Aubrey, clients lined up for Aubrey's designs. Elisa is indeed a great blessing to Aubrey's life. 

"We need to look for a new place for your boutique, Bree." Elisa advised "Your business is getting bigger." 

"You're right, Eli but I don't have time to look for a new place, you see we're so full of orders, I need to be hands on with every detail." 

They are at the workplace, observing everything that their employees do. Making sure that everything is going to be perfect for their clients. 

"Excuse me, ma'am Aubrey, can you please double check all the orders of materials before I email it?" A stuff said to Aubrey, giving her a list of materials

Aubrey took the paper and double checked all the things written down on the paper. 

"Double the numbers of this silk color, this one, this one too and this one. I have a new idea, I think I'm going to use them." She gave the paper back to the stuff 

"Speaking of ideas, Bree. Why don't we have a photoshoot to promote your other designs?" 

"That's a brilliant idea, Eli but who will be our models? My brand is that known, models won't accept our offer." 

They entered Aubrey's office and sat on the sofa. 

"Who says that we need to hire models? Will you allow your visual to go to waste? Emma, Rose and you will be the models." 

"Hell no." Aubrey shook her head "I can't do it." 

"You're great in front of the camera, Bree. When we were in Los Angeles, I took a lot of pictures of you and they were all amazing. This is for your business."

"Okay, but in one condition." Aubrey plastered a lopsided smile "You'll join us."

Aubrey temporarily stopped accepting offers and focused on designing and creating masterpieces. 

A knock slightly disturbed Aubrey from sketching designs. 

"Ma'am, we already delivered the last batch of the orders to the clients." Her secretary informed her

"Thank you, tell the team that we'll have a meeting before we close." 

"Noted, ma'am." Her secretary excused herself 

*ding*

Aubrey opened the message and a smile automatically crept into her lips when she saw who sent it. 

From: My Eli

Hello there, kitten. I'm about to leave for work. I hope you're not stressing yourself out. Call me whenever you can. I miss you, Bree. 

She immediately dialled Elisa's number. 

"Miss me?" Elisa cockily said

Aubrey groaned "I regret calling you right away."

Elisa softly laughed "Sorry. I miss you and Gab." 

"We miss you too. We'll see you later, right? You promised Gab that you'll have dinner at our house." 

"Yes, yes. By the way, when are you planning to shoot? Are you still working on the other designs?" 

"Maybe next month? I decided to make more designs, I dunno but my brain is functioning well these past few days." 

"Well, that's great, right? I'm here at the office already, I'll just call you later, okay?" 

"Sure. Take care, Eli. I love you." Aubrey felt giddy saying those words to Elisa

"That's the sweetest 'I love you' I've ever heard. I love you too, Bree."

"I know that the last few months were extremely exhausting for us, guys. I want to thank all of you for the success of our little boutique. All the hard work paid off because you know why?" 

No one can guess the good news that Aubrey is gonna drop. 

"We're moving into a bigger place!" Aubrey happily announced the good news

Her employees cheered for their little success. 

"One more, because I know that you guys really are dedicated to your work and I see how you love our boutique, I decided to increase your salary." 

They all cheered again. Thanking Aubrey for the bigger salary. 

Aubrey was about to exit when one of her employees approached her. 

"Miss, Aubrey." A mid 40's woman approached Aubrey 

"Mrs. Park, is there a problem?" 

"There is nothing, Miss. I just want to thank you and miss Elisa for giving us jobs to support our family." 

Aubrey frowned "Elisa? Us? What do you mean?" 

"Didn't you know? Miss Elisa offered jobs for our family members, my husband is working in their hotel now."

Aubrey pulled Elisa to the garden after their dinner. 

"Is there a problem, Bree? You were quite the whole dinner time." 

"Why are you so kind, Elisa? Giving jobs to people that you.." 

"Because I want to, Bree. I know that they are part of your life, you treat them as your family, I just want to pay them back for treating my Aubrey right. Your family is my family too, Aubrey." Elisa cupped Aubrey's face and stared at her cat doe eyes "That's how I love you, Aubrey." 

It's been months since Elisa started to court Aubrey and she can't deny it anymore. Aubrey already fell in love with the woman in front of her. 

"Sometimes, I'm thinking that you're too good for me.." Aubrey smiled "But every time you look at me like that, like I am your world, like I am most important person in the whole universe, like you're giving me all the love in you, I tell myself that this person in front of me is the right person for me and I will make her feel how much I love her." Aubrey leaned and kissed Elisa lips for a brief second "I'm ready, Elisa. It's a yes." 

"What do you mean? Yes?" Elisa's eyes widen "You mean.. you're my girlfriend now?" 

Aubrey plastered her gummy smile "Yes, Elisa. I'm your girlfriend now." 

Elisa hugged the kitten "Thank you! Thank you, Bree! I will never waste this! I will love you and Gab more." She pulled away and pecked Aubrey's lips "I love you." 

"I love you." Aubrey replied 

"Finally!" 

The couple turned their attention to the door where the whole Jackson family is standing. 

"Yehey! Mommy Elisa is officially my mommy now!" Gab jumped up and down

Aubrey and Elisa laughed at their daughter's cuteness. 

"Did you record it all?" Emma nudged Noah's shoulder

"Yes, sister. Whole and clear." The youngest winked at their eldest
