Outside Logan punched Zander straight in the face. "What is your problem Zander!" Logan yelled. "Kat hasn't done anything to you, why don't you leave her alone."

Zane ran up and got in between his brother and best friend. "Ok everyone the party is over" said Zane. "Come on Logan you can stay in the guest room.

Zander turned away and went to his room slamming the door shut. As he walked by he heard the soft sobs coming from the guest room and knew they belonged to Kat. "Just great he thought, now she'll be sharing a room with that little prick tonight."

After getting all the guests out Zane, Logan, and Allie headed upstairs.

"By the way man, Kat is also in the guest room" Zane told Logan. "If you don't want to go in there you can sleep on the couch."

"No it's fine. She's probably really upset right now anyway and could use a friend. You know I'm not going to try anything with her, I'm not like Zander." replied Logan.

"I know that's why I said you could sleep in there." said Zane.

Zane and Allie went to Zanes room and shut the door. Logan took a deep breath and softly pushed the guest room door open. "Kat?"

"Logan what are you doing in here?" Kat asked

"I wanted to make sure you're ok and Zane said I could stay here." Logan told her.

Kat had never shared a bed with a boy before. She knew she liked Logan but wasn't ready to lose her virginity. "I'm fine I just want to go to sleep and forget tonight ever happened."

"Kat I would never ask you for anything you don't want. Can I just hold you tonight?" Logan asked moving closer to the bed. He didn't want to pressure Kat into anything.

"Sure" came her small voice. Logan lay down next to Kat and held her gently.

"I'm sorry about what Zander said outside. I don't feel that way Kat. I think you're a great person. I wish we got to know each other sooner." Logan told her

"Thanks Logan but he was right. I don't belong here with you and these people. I just came for Allie. Goodnight." She said making it clear the topic was closed.
