Celia couldn’t hide away the smile that stretched over her face after she and her brother had ended up in an agreement.
Finally with her brother on her side, there will be one less problem for her to worry about. Jericho would take care of their father for her and she could finally focus on winning Lorcan’s parents and stealing the Luna title from Raven. Celia grinned. Celia’s day took down for the worst, but at least she managed to win her brother’s favor and see how far he had Lorcan wrapped around her finger. Jericho is an upright person and he holds the same values as their father. You could say that Jericho is just like Beta Colton when he was just his age. In fact, Jericho is even better than his father. Celia thought that there’s no way she could ever convince Jericho to be on her side. More especially, she had never expected him to volunteer to cover up for her and protect her from their father. <Lorcan was not expecting such extreme negative reaction from Celia when he suggested that she should reconcile with Raven. Of course, Lorcan was expecting hesitation and hostility from her, but he wasn’t expecting that she would snap at him, that she would have such violent reaction from a simple suggestion.Celia’s aura just changed. Suddenly, she is not the same woman that Lorcan has known anymore.Celia had always been the kind and gentle person that Lorcan has always known. Celia is carefree like a breeze, always in smiles, looking so innocent. The person in front of Lorcan however is different. She is still Celia, but she doesn’t feel like Celia. Her aura has changed. Lorcan could feel the amount of anger radiating off her. He had no idea that by just suggesting that she should reconcile with Raven would make her turn this angry.Lorcan was speechless as he starts to see Celia for the first time. Her hands had balled
Raven was just getting ready for breakfast. She already had her clothes on and was just about to leave when someone rushed in frantically. “Raven! Raven!” Raven could hear Robin already shouting her name before she could enter her room. Raven turned around and faced Robin at the door, panting. She held her knees as she chased her breath under the door frame. Raven’s brows drew together “What is it?” She asked her in concern. She walked towards Robin to help her settle down, but Robin raised her hand up refusing to move out of the doorframe.“You wouldn’t believe this,” Robin muttered in between breaths. Raven could not imagine what could be so important so early in the morning that Robin had to rush from the courtyard and all the way here into her room. Even though Robin and Wren were her attendants, they are still workers for the renovation project at the courtyard which means they had to continue their regular work there and can’t be around Raven
Wren hissed in pain and retracted her hand when she felt a sharp pain on the back of her palm. Blood trickled out of her small deep scratches because of Raven’s sharp wolfish nails. Raven finally calmed down when she had accidentally injured Wren. Her wolfish eyes turned to it’s usual black color and her nails retracted as her anger was replaced with genuine concern over Wren. She turned over to Wren with worry filling her eyes. She tried to snatch Wren’s hand to see what she had done, but Wren was so fast — she hid her hand behind her back before Raven could even see how deeply she had scratched her skin.“Raven, we should go back,” Wren stole Raven’s attention from her hand.Although her hand is stinging, and she could feel the blood forming out of it, she just ignored the pain and pretended that her hand was fine for she did not want to add into Raven’s worries.Raven stilled. A lump formed inside her throat as she stared into Wren’s soft eyes that were slig
A few months had passed since Lorcan had wrapped up his investigation. Celia was never caught for her crimes and the man that they caught had to live in shame for his entire life.Even so, Raven couldn’t bring herself to feel bad for that man. This was the path that he had chosen. He chose not to be honest with his job and take all the blame to protect Celia. He could have told them the truth, but he chose to lie and hide the truth until the very end. How could Raven pity him for what his life had become when he could have done something to avoid it?He had a bright future ahead of him, but because of his crimes, he was blacklisted and is no longer qualified to become a warrior.Just when he had only about two years left of training to be declared as an official warrior, he did a terrible mistake that ruined his future. If only he had chosen to tell the truth, he could have saved his career. However, for some reasons he still chose to be loyal to Celia until the every end.Raven wonde
Who would have thought that even though the omegas are at the bottom of the status hierarchy, and had experienced bullying and discrimination above them, they would still bully someone who is in the same status as them just because they were slightly weaker and unprivileged than them?Raven thought that all omegas treats each other like friends and family. In the packhouse, she had seen omegas always being in the same page, supporting the same person and having the same opinion. However, in their solidarity they had purposely left Kissa out who they consider as someone weaker than them.Raven could still remember the poor state that Kissa was in when she had saved her from a group of bullies. It was evening when she met her, a time when everyone was supposed to be in their homes.Raven never goes outside the packhouse at night, so they only encountered each other by chance. At that time, Raven stayed overtime at the courtyard just to finalize some touches. Raven rarely go overtime for
Raven supervised the whole project from end to finish. Now, she is down to the last step. She is finally supervising the omegas as they placed the newly arrived furniture to its proper place in the courtyard. Everyone worked in harmony and speed, they were all just excited to finish what they were all doing so they could finally rest and celebrate their accomplishment. They were all looking forward to the party that they were all going to have after this which they all well deserved for the good work that they have done.In order to thank everybody for their efforts, Raven prepared a huge celebratory party for their months of hard work before and to have one last hurrah before they all separate in their own ways. Two months felt like just two days for Raven. She couldn’t believe that this would be the last day she would be working with these people. Raven would miss them all, they had all grown in her heart in the days that they had been together. She couldn’t believe that this wo
Kissa, Robin, and Wren shared a surprise look with each other when they heard Luna Savina’s words as they placed food on their table.Their hands even paused momentarily as they absorbed the weight of the responsibility that Luna Savina was trying to pass on to Raven. Even though the Luna is passing the responsibility unto Raven, they still felt equally nervous and afraid as Raven. Handling the schedule and the accommodation for their special guests woukd surely not be easy. What’s more than that was they can’t afford to make any mistakes. The name of the pack is at stake here. One mistake and they will bring shame to the pack. Their guests won’t just be any guests, they will be having Alphas and Lunas from all the other packs staying with them. How could Luna Savina entrust this huge responsibility to Raven who has no experience in things like this?A task as risky as this should be something that Luna Savina must handle herself. Why is she passing the responsibility to Raven agai
Raven wore her best smile as she welcomed their pack’s guests for the werewolf assembly. She looks elegant and confident with her white off dress which complements her porcelain skin and contrasts with her dark orbs, and midnight hair.Raven’s dress is tight fitted which fits her body like a glove. It accentuated her curves at the right places, showing her slim waist, wide hips and her pronounced chest.Raven looked classy with her clean makeup and classic red lipstick. She also had long gold earrings on giving her that classy timeless lookWith her practiced smile, straight posture and the way she formally held herself together, no one could ever guess how much she was dying of nervousness on the inside.Despite how classy and elegant Raven looked, she still doesn’t feel confident of herself she just pretends to be.Raven’s palms were cold and sweaty as her heart pounded rapidly in her chest.
