Shock! Absolute, resolute shock! I could not believe it. I waited someone to laugh at the joke, but no one did! And dad won’t lie like this. He loves me, more than anyone else, well, maybe mom perhaps!

“Nash found you almost dead beside him. He ran down carrying you, and dad brought you to the medical dorm,” Jared informed.

“My theory is because you were already having antidote in your system. Any other day, or if you were poisoned, within a few hours, you would have been dead,” Dr Serena sighed.
