ALESTERIA HEAVED out a sigh of relief as Aldrich escorted her out of the balcony and into the banquet hall once more, never once did she looked behind her as she is afraid that she will meet Enzo's eyes. 'Aside from being mana less, there is something else about him that don't sit right with me.' Alesteria frowned at this thought and shakes her head, trying to forget about it, which thankfully she did with Aldrich's help. "Alesteria, step on my feet." Alesteria looked up, since Aldrich is taller than her, and furrowed her eyebrow at him. "What do you mean 'step on my feet'?" She asked as Aldrich twirled her. Aldrich smiled at her and said, "It is because you are still small that you are lagging behind. Step on my feet and I will take the lead." Then, without a word, he slightly carried her and let her step on his white shoes, which made Alesteria resist since her shoes are dirty. "Brother! No!" Aldrich laughed at Alesteria and as he swayed, Alesteria followed since she is step
AS SOON as Enzo is out of their sight, Alesteria can finally breathe freely while Nicholae still held her close to him; liking how she relied on him and no one else. 'I don't know why but this day just keeps getting weirder and weirder.' She thought as she closes her eyes momentarily before sighing. Alesteria is weirded out by how Enzo acted, like an obsessive stalker wanting to get close to its prey and doing everything he can do so. But she has only known him for a few hours, a day at most if you counted the encounter at the festival market. The only possible explanation would be that he has taken a liking to her, seeing how he wanted to be as close to her as possible. 'But that wouldn't be the case, right?' "Are you alright? Do you want to rest for a while?" Nicholae asked as she notices Alesteria's troubled expression. Alesteria nodded, wanting to sit down for a while before they continued walking to the banquet hall. It is a good thing that they are near the garden ag this
"THEY'RE STAYING?!" Alesteria's voice rang inside the room as Aldrich and Aimilios calmly ate the food and sip the tea that was provided to them by the maids. It was the day after the banquet and everything has calmed down, the decorations that were left in the banquet hall are being taken down today and many of the maids and staff are busy cleaning the palace and banquet hall. So, there are less maids to accommodate them. They understood this and just decided to have their tea party, with Alesteria, Aimilios, and Aldrich present, in Alesteria's room rather than in the garden. "That is what father said earlier in breakfast, didn't you hear?" Aldrich said as he took a bit out of the macaron he was eating. Alesteria shook her head and slammed her hand on the table, creating a noise by the teacups and saucer clattering at the force. "I didn't! Did he really say that?!" Aimilios nodded, "Yes. It was when they were just serving breakfast when he announced it." Alesteria settled dow
AS ALESTERIA said, she did walk around the garden near her palace, the one where it is called 'Aleria'. The Aleria Garden has many daisies and wildflowers growing around them, the grasses are tended very neatly but they let the wildflowers live and scatter across the garden. Other than that, there are also forget-me-nots, dandelions, and sunflowers in each part of the garden. There is a designated place to them and at least 3 gardeners are tasked to take care of this garden. Alesteria knew why the emperor give so much importance to this garden and why it is tended with care and love, even making it off limits that only the royal family could walk inside. The answer to this is the statue at the center of the garden, a beautiful woman in a knight outfit stood straight as she held her sword up and under the statue is a placard that reads the following. 'To the woman who stood tall while everyone fell down A heroic figure for the knights who led the army against rebellion A woman wh
'AH, NO! I don't need to feel guilty! I was only telling him the truth and that...' Alesteria sighed as she places her head on her palm as she slightly shakes her head, annoyed that she is feeling guilty for something she only felt the right thing to do to make Enzo stop. However, why does it feel like she did something wrong? Why does it feel like she shouldn't have done that? Alesteria is beyond pissed. 'Screw this!' She shouted in her mind as she walked to her room. She passed by the maids as they greeted her, Alesteria just nodding at them as she arrived at her room; which she immediately placed the bouquet on the table and wrote a letter to Xerxes. After five minutes, she finished writing a letter and she called out to a maid, who entered the room and bowed towards her. "You called, your highness?" Alesteria turned to the maid and gave her the letter she was writing on moments ago, the maid accepting it as she looked at Alesteria in a confused manner. "Send that to my fa
ALESTERIA WENT to the festival market and thought that she will experience the festivities once again, feel the atmosphere around her, and how joyful everything is. However, when she arrived, the festival market is gone and everything is back to normal. "What the heck? Is it that easy to clean everything up?" She muttered under her breath as she stared at the once colorful street with no signs of any decorations. Alesteria waved her hand on her hair and eyes and they immediately changed into the brown and lapiz color that she used when she went there with Parie. She looked around and saw the same merchants as the last time, only their goods are lesser than what she saw and everything seem to be normal; unlike before when everything was wrapped in either a blue or silver ribbon. "Hello, young lady!" A voice called out to her as she passed by. She stopped and turned to see who it was, seeing the same merchant, a woman in her late 40's, spoke out to her and was also the one who gave
THE UNKNOWN entity brushed off where Alesteria has hit him with her red flame as he summoned another, but this time, it was a much bigger flame than she had ever seen. Alesteria knew that this attacker also knows how to manipulate his mana. "Shit!" The attacker threw the blue flame towards Alesteria as she tried to avoid it but the blue flame countered her and attacked her open side, which Alesteria immediately placed a shield on. Even if she did, the impact was so intense that Alesteria flew away and landed on her back as she tried to gain her balance. "I'm beginning to get pissed." Alesteria muttered as she wiped off the rocks that have fallen on her from being thrown to the wall. Alesteria then raises her hand and summoned a water wave and sends it to the attacker, her eyes glowing brighter as the wave got bigger and bigger. The attacker tried to counter this with a shield but he was knocked away by the wave as Alesteria took this as a chance to run away. "Shit! How is he th
"YOU AREN'T going to the night market?" Ich was sitting by the windowsill, looking down at the people preparing to go to tonight's night market as many of them ran excitedly. Nadia is leaning on the doorframe, her hair in a ponytail as she looked at Ich; trying to convince him to come along with them but the latter is stubborn. "I already said no, so just go and enjoy." Nadia sighed at Ich's attitude and walked towards him, grabbing his hand as he dragged the young man down to come along with them. "Nadia! I already told you I'm not going!" Ich shouted as he angrily tried to remove Nadia's hold on him. But Nadia is stronger than her as she literally dragged him down the stairs. Neo was already there as he heard the footsteps, turning his head to the stairs as he spoke. "Hey, Nadia. Are you ready to..." He trailed off talking when he saw Ich being dragged down by Nadia as he glared at her, while Nadia just smiled at Neo like nothing happened. Neo turned to Ich and raised an ey
