Seeing me like this, Claire took the initiative and knelt down, bowing her head in hopes that I would let her go.

Sara followed suit, and when they saw my dad guarding the door outside, Fiona dropped to her knees.

The sounds of their kowtowing echoed in the hospital room while I coldly regarded the three faces filled with hatred.

Back then, no matter how much I begged to be released, it only resulted in endless torment multiplied a thousand times.

I watched everything unfold before me, their foreheads swollen and bruised, a hint of black color showing.

"Stop it."

Just as they had hoped, I called for them to cease, and relief flashed in their eyes.

I told them to come closer, gently stroking the swollen areas before pressing down hard.

Caught off guard, they cried out in pain, and I raised my finger to their lips.

“Shh. This is a hospital. It needs to be quiet.”

So they covered their mouths in agony and shook their heads. I smiled as I pressed down once more, then again.
