CHAPTER 123: A Father's Determination

My brow furrows as Elmyra enters a mansion with a throng of bodyguards surrounding it.

How can she rent, let alone own such a place when she’s financially not as well off as she was before? Did Mei Zhou finance this?

I’m gonna have a hard time finding Sammy there, much less penetrating it.

I need a plan!

Suddenly, a clever and still risky idea materializes in my head: to become one of the bodyguards!

I study the bodyguards very carefully. They’re wearing black suit with black necktie, a pair of heavily-tinted eyeglasses, and an earpiece.

Next, I make my way to the nearest stores where I can buy everything I need. I put them on and wax my hair down.

Satisfied with how unrecognizable I look, I drive back towards the mansion.

I leave my car parked far enough from the mansion that no one will notice it, but near enough that I can run towards it once Sammy is already with me.

Without anyone suspecting me, I enter the mansion as casually as I can, as if it’s an every day routine.
